I'm wondering about what the best ways to get free art are.

Top three I've come up with:
1. Order a commission from someone who states "Pay me after the sketch/after I finish the commission" and book it once you get something from them. (Sometimes it's easy to remove a watermark if they decide to go that route.)
2. Start a "contest", take all the art that's submitted, and either don't pick a winner publically or use some sort of sockpuppet as the winning account.
3. Order a commission as usual and get a chargeback some time after completion.

Higher risk but higher reward as you go down the list. I've never done the third but I've seen enough stories about people getting away with it (because artists can't defend themselves on Paypal if the art is NSFW) that I'm tempted to try it out. Maybe just make a new account and put $50 in it. If it works out I get art and keep $50. If it doesn't work then I'll have a commission I was interested in ordering anyways.

Does anyone here have any other bright ideas?

This is indeed not a trolling plan. Just a real cunt thing to do and while exchanging tactics to illicitly procure art by swindling people might not be illegal depending on one's jurisdiction, I don't think we as a website would prefer to encourage it.
