To be fair, harsh critiques on Newgrounds were pretty common back in the day, some even were made out of spite against certain individuals, like the one Arin made here.
Then again, pretty fucking funny to think Tome is doing great compared to the Grumps and fucking YanDev of all people manages to get free money by doing even less than playing 2 hours of games a week.

Who tf is Ryan Estrada or Derek Waters and why is Arin pleading to be noticed? Arin keeps on begging people who have no correlation to GameGrumps to help him gain viewers.
It’s almost as weird as him having Michelle Visage and Visage’s daughter on to play Viva Piñata. Apparently, Arin is a huge fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race to the extent that he went to Season 9 and 10’s season finale show and was caught on camera. That may explain why he wanted Michelle on as her daughter is alleged to be a Grump’s fan and Arin loves drag (Michelle is a judge on RuPaul)

I'm not completely sure why the Twitter posts made me think of this, but I'm honestly kind of expecting Arin to turn into Maddox, but without the lolsuits. He's seems to be losing his fanbase slowly and has seemingly already burned bridges with some of his friends, to me at least it seems like Arin will go down the same general path that Maddox did if he isn't careful, and knowing Arin, he won't.

The show pretty much just cribs wikipedia, complete with those mistakes and "revisions". The people on the show often have a connection to the history (like they live in New York and the story takes place in New York) but aren't regarded as experts of said history.
It's a pretty fun watch, but not super historically accurate. Arin would be fine and I'm sure he would be fine for a "here's some fucked up Florida shit" story.
