They keep saying it's an all an act; but I would seriously love to know where the Grumps get the idea that acting like that is what the audience wants/finds funny.
Are we in that kind of reality that abusive relationships (platonic or otherwise), graphically describing bowel movements and alluding to being gay for each other are the height of comedy now?
In all seriousness, you need to remember what kind of community you're dealing with here: stalkers, doxers, abusers, harassers of suicide victims, foot fetishists, power-tripping moderators, potential pedophiles, alt-righters that even r/The_Donald would cringe at, sexual deviants (PolyGrumps), impersonators (onichris), SJWs, creepers who buy genderbent/non-genderbent body pillows of Dan and Arin, con-goers whom have no idea what public decency or personal space is, and finally people who will treat other Internet people as children and personal property whilst trying to shield them from all criticism and "haters".
All whilst being spurred on and supported by the Grumps themselves. With no regards to their past fans circa Jon Era whatsoever and whilst heralding blatant hypocrisy for all of the other degenerate hiveminders to bask within; very rarely do you see sane Grumps fans anymore, and any that are prominent for a short time (i.e. Brandon Turner or VEGA) will quickly try to distance themselves post-signal boosting the second they realize just how bad things are.
The Lovelies, Cumfaggots, and nearly everyone else in between are the worst of the worst of every spectrum of any Internet spectacle you can think of; if there's degeneracy to be found, it's lurking somewhere within their communities, and it continues to shock me that so many people don't know about the toxic cesspool that is the Game Grumps fanbase. It'd be ironic if it weren't so sad and laughably stupid.
