Heh heh, threats in game theory are like, when one dude says to another dude, "If you don't do what I want, I'm gonna mess you up." It's like, trying to make the other guy scared, so he does what you want.
Yeah, it's kinda like when Beavis and I wanna watch TV, and I say, "Beavis, if you don't let me have the remote, I'm gonna fart in your face." Heh heh. So Beavis is all like, "No way, dude," and he gives me the remote. That's a threat, heh heh.
In game theory, you use threats to like, change the other dude's strategy. You gotta make sure your threat is, like, believable, though. If Beavis knows I'm just messing around, he won't give me the remote, and then my plan fails, heh heh.
So, if you're playing some strategy game, and you wanna win, you gotta make the other player think you'll do something bad if they don't play the way you want. But, like, if they don't believe you, it's not gonna work, heh heh.
Yeah, threats are about getting what you want by making the other guy scared. But if you make a threat, you gotta be ready to, like, follow through. Otherwise, they'll just laugh at you, like, "Ha ha, nice try, dude." Heh heh.
