are you allergic to anything?

Fucking everything, unfortunately. I keep discovering new things to add to the list.

The recent surprise was learning that allergies to different things doesn't always present in the same way. This last month I discovered I'm allergic to peanuts. But not like I'm allergic to other things, which is how I missed it for so long. Other things give me rashes and itching and shit.

Peanuts makes bright lights flash in front of my eyes and the entire world close in around me like I stood up too fast, but not immediately. Instead, it'll hit me 4-8 hours later when I'm doing something else like driving a car or walking down the street.

Shit sucks. I can always tell when I'm developing an allergy, because I'll start to really enjoy something. In the same way that I know I'm getting sick when I suddenly feel really good one day for no reason.

I have pollen allergy in my documentation, because I got runny nose for 2-3 days after, like, 3 years, in the time I had to pick up some papers from my doctor. I can't tell if it's even an allergy or just some physical irritation, because that time there was drought and parked cars and all other outside surfaces were covered with continuous, opaque layer of pollen.
