Well, one of the problems is that Russia is really fucking big and includes multiple groups of people.

Are we talking about all Russian ethnic groups? Then no, they're not all white. Are we talking about various groups like the nebulous "Russian" of Western Russia? Then you're more likely to have Slavic-related and Finnish-related DNA, but I am not an expert on it. Even then, you have to answer if those ethnic groups are white or not. Are you talking about "these people do not act United States or West Europe white?" That's just a pain in the ass to argue about.

Edit: If you transplant a Russian to North, South, or Central America, that Russian will be treated as white if they have general white features and pale skin. So at least it fits in with Ameicas white.

Europe was always a nebulous concept, it was never a purely geographical term, more of a civilizational one, from the Atlantic to the Urals is a modern conception, most older chroniclers put the boundary of Asia along the Tanais/Don, some would have set it along the Elbe.
To be White is to be of Europe in one way or another, rusgolistanis? Theirs is a legacy of eastern savagery, Moscow itself was founded as a Mongol tribute collection post, their entire heritage is of that brutal breed.

From what I can tell, it's a product of a few things.
  • Cultural rivalries - Originally the euros were mad at each other for old wars, resource managment, and invasion rivalries. That's a big reason Hitler persecuted the Poles.
  • Religious bitching - this is mixed since Catholics can be accepted (depending on the age/era of white supremacy). Orthodox people tend to be looked down upon or are culturally different enough that they might feel isolated in a western European community.
  • Cultural assimilation - American white supremacist and European supremacist seem to keep having more rivalries with each other on this, as sometimes it ties into national pride and hating on each other's country for not being good enough.
  • Too close to Asia, Middle East, and Africa - Hilariously, th
  • You smell funny - I shit you not, a powerful factor in tribalism is smell. This likely came from when Grog ate different meat and berries on one side of the river than Oogh, making the two smell different enough that if two look similar they can still tell they belong to different tribes and might have to be wary of each other due to resource sharing and stealing.
  • You are a filthy poor and talk funny - Bolding this. What people forget is that the Late 1800s-early 1900s was scientifically trying to figure out what made someone a degenerate, what made them stupid, and what made them poor and unsuccessful. White people of the western races were held as the best, but hmm, why do we still have criminals, retards, and these fucking poors? Genetically deficient, obviously. While intellect can be passed down and factors that make someone more likely to do crimes (like lack of impulse control) can be passed down genetically, poor tends to be outside circumstances or behavior. Classism was still prevelent even if they tried to hide it. Why else was my family richer than yours? Because survival of the genetically fittest, duh. So if you weren't rich you'd get shat on too. We have less of this nowadays because champagne socialism is the exciting trend of the rich. Slavs immigrants and slavic nations tended to be poorer as a whole at the time, so that didn't help.
  • THEY'RE TAKING OUR JOBS - Another added to the resource pile. Immigrants have been used to take labor from native poor people for a while now. Jobs = money and money is a resource, thus the conflict. It's also one of the reasons the working man has become more likely to have the rivalry than the rich who import them. Don't get me wrong, they still get treated like cattle by the rich in a banal evil way, but the working classes get really annoyed when people take their jobs.

That's all I can think of. Basically, the slavs are dirty eastern invaders and have a different enough culture and smell that they're not white. White is one of the most nebulous concepts on the planet since it can mean "anyone with white skin and ancestory" to "anyone who assimilates into the culture properly and doesn't do things I like." Most racists on the farms aren't even that hardline of racists, they like black people who don't act like niggers, and they'll call whites nigger if they're acting in a way that's trashy. It's a massive pile of bullshit that is hard to parse through since ethnic demographics, geodemographics, science, and culture itself have changed to fragment the definition of white in 300 ways. And Europeans and Americans STILL have a different definition of white half the time because it's group rivalries.

It's funny how this problem virtually doesn't exist in Russian language, there's a difference between русский and россиянин. Yakuts for example are never called Russians, they're just called Yakuts. They aren't Russians (русские), and there's no reason to say россияне because everyone knows where/what Sakha Republic is and it just makes you sound like a retard instead.

Because rusgols are so very alien in each and every measurable manner that they really are a different clade altogether, I don't need to explain this to you: look at the dissonance between the two yookraine threads.

Also because "white" itself is also a nebulous concept, it can unironically be whatever you choose to want it to be, for some ideologies it is a bloodline matter, for others it is a proximity of descent sort of deal, other people don't give a fuck about your DNA and only care about what you look like. Just look at WW2 era examples of "honorary aryans" and the like, it truly demonstrates just how malleable the concept is; because it's not real. Because there is no such thing as "white" people.

Terms like white/black/yellow are all "scientific" exonyms that do not mean anything, Chinese people aren't asiatics they're Huaxia, Iroquois aren't redskins they're Haudenosaunee, English people aren't white they're fucking English m8. The point I am making here is that generalized terms going off of purely non-cultural characteristics are ultimately made meaningless by their intangeibility.
 
To get the answer on if the Russians are white, find out if their women fuck dogs.

Has something to do with the legacy of the Mongols invading Eastern Europe (but never reaching into the test of Europe), adoption of Orthodox Christianity (at least for Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians, et. al) and then decades of the USSR and Eastern Europe under the Warsaw Pact making them into major rivals to the Anglo/Western European dominated NATO. Essentially they are European but have always been considered "different" with a distinctively hostile flair if you are coming from the West, either Western Europe or the America(s).

They fill an odd middle ground where they are obviously on some kind of common ground (Christian, White, etc.) but are also different, so they are seen differently. Selectively they are either fellow Europeans or are 'othered', depending on what context will suit them. Of course some Slavic peoples are more similar to the West (Poles are Catholic for example so they kind of well with Irish people for example, at least in Muttistan and their language is in Latin alphabet) but others like Russians may seem more foreign.

At the end of the day it's pretty petty tribalism. They are European.

If your average NAFOid unironically thinks the average Russian is a "mongrel asian" they also tend to believe the EU should invite Infinity Indians and Somalis to culturally enrich the continent or else you ass is a rayciss and also are oddly nice to Polish people and Czech people and so on because "well ackshully they are fully white unlike russian orcs" like at this point the entire Slav debate is just based on vibes and however the arguers feel at that time of day. It's silly.

"white" is a meaningless category developed by Jewish academics to suppress the identities of host populations. There is no white ethnic group, no white nationality, and no white religion. It means nothing.
