Are Military Lolcows an Unexplored Genre?

Was watching this video (which I don't entirely agree with, but it is what it is) and quickly began wondering why there is not a lot of discussion on lolcows that run in military circles. Not talking about fake Marines ( :semperfidelis: ),I'm talking about REAL or at least unironic individuals whose content is almost entirely military themed, whether it involves doctrine, procurement, or drama. Maybe there just isn't a lot of experience or interest in the subject, maybe there just aren't a lot of military lolcows, but I know from my own experience the act of going to some of these military procurement conferences is extremely painful. A lot of "yeah, we're gonna lose to the Chinese, but please buy our new plane that we won't be able to replace if we ever took serious losses". Pretty funny stuff if you're viewing it from afar. I only know the broad outlook of things, not individuals; so I was wondering if anyone else knew any other specific figures in the military community that have lolcow traits.

Stolen valor cows are usually as bad as the people who go on crusades about them. The former are either insane or scam artists, the latter attention whores.

As for your actual requested content, you could crucify every military procurement contractor and all currently serving officers above 0-4 and it would not just cause no harm, but improve the functioning of our military.

I don't think that it's really untapped, probably just that they keep their weirdness to themselves until they are out - or want to be out - due to the military more than likely not taking too kindly to spergery with all things considered? Not counting the exceptions that make the rule and all.

The men, women, and nonbinary individuals who serve their nation deserve to be cherished as heroes and warriors, even if they just sit around playing with their phones on an army base in Japan for 3 years in order to get free college and a government-funded sex change operation.

Historically speaking, the military is extremely spergy. A lot of glory hounds and a lot of people with hot opinions on current or future tech. And while that may sound rather dull, it's important to remember actual lives are at stake and thus every retarded decision will be paid in blood. My own personal take on this subject is that wars are won or lost not during the battles or even just before the war - but 30 year years before hand when everyone is arguing about what the budget should be or what equipment they should buy. So, at least to me, stuff like the Pentagon Wars or the F-35 debate isn't just some hypothetical, but very real. And very funny.
The problem is the worst offenders are often ignored or kicked upstairs until it is too late. We also haven't been in a real near-peer war in a long time, so the damage has been kept to a minimum.

That's kind of the problem. I don't know individuals, as I said. Not really what I'm involved with.
But I'll do some more research, I suppose.

Laserpig has a few more videos calling out the other old school milspergs. There's a whole cabal of fossils stuck in WW2 (Burton included) that don't think guided missiles and radar are viable technology. Pierre Sprey being a notable one. The whole "Fighter Mafia" was basically shown the door sometime in the 1970's for being weirdos (or just irrelevant contractors) and have spent every second since cultivating this cult of them designing everything good about the teen fighters and A-10 and citing each other and doing the media circuit about how great they are and how the DoD got it wrong.

In their later years they changed their tune and became anti-stealth and were the media's favorite clowns to cite for F-35 bashing or A-10 fanboyism.

Sparky was always on the fringes of that cabal. Him and Burton teamed up sometimes to be Team Bradley-hater united in their love of the tracked-dumpster obsolete M113 APC and complete failure to understand that the doctrine changed.

Old men who don't understand this newfangled expensive gear and insist on being cheapskates running obsolete simplified junk forever.

Maybe a Community Watch thread? There was that Weeb Wars adjacent Spectre guy who did actually serve, but lied constantly about the circumstances. Sounds like that starts you off with at least three or so people who already have threads that could be referenced in a potential OP.
