TBH, if Israel manages to take out the leader of Iran, they might get the regime change they hope in Iran. Given the state of living in Iran right now, the loss of their leader would be unlikely to stoke feelings of compassion and patriotism within Iran and I doubt you'd see an uprising to destroy Israel. Sure 20% of the population would call for the death of Israel, but the other 80% would like to see the regime fall and welcome it.
