Archivist rating

We've all seen posts that are just screencaps of tweets without even providing a link, let alone an archived copy of the shit.

- Add an archivist rating that indicates the posted did a good or even exemplary job of archiving shit
- Add a way to sift through megathreads purely based on the archivist rating
- Figure out a way to identify the best/most reliable archivists on the forum and be able to call upon them when they are needed.

Downside:
- People wouldn't be able to rate the actual content as autistic/gay/faggy

At the very least, web archives (Archive.is/Ghostarchive etc.) are useful to have to verify authenticity. Screenshots can be very easily faked, proper archives can't.

Everything you describe is largely covered by what many people use for.
As informative has the highest (+3) rating of all the commonly available ratings, some is likely to make a post a highlight anyway, which is good enough for 99% of all threads.

I don't see the point of Bulletpoint 3 ie. creating some archivist subclass of forum users when it's as simple as putting the damn thing in ghostarchive, archive.is or putting a local copy in the thread/post.

I would hope that if the information is important, even if the original poster didn't archive it, other farmer would do so instead (even if they don't post the archive link afterwards, then anyone can search for that URL in the archiving site), I've done so several times over the years on here.
