ALL RIGHTY THEN, Boyfriend-Free Girls. Since we are larger than previously photographed and no longer bent, YOU NEED KILLIN' so I'm going to call a Steam event tonight. This is of course for members of the PC gaming master race, console weenies need not apply.

BTW: for the n00bz in the audience, "Boyfriend-Free Girls" is a Steam group which you are all welcome to join. My Steam nick is "Repomancer."

The only questions remaining are 1) what time, and 2) what game. I'm leaning towards 9 Eastern, and it'd be delightful to get enough together for a Versus L4D2 match, or perhaps a Gib Fest if insufficient nerds can be gathered. You have no excuse for not having L4D2 at this point because they're practically giving it away. Barring that, Team Fortress 2 is also an option, or pretty much anything else as long as I have and feel like playing it. You will find the experience soothing, and emerge as a better person after the pain stops.

SO WHAT SAY YE, O FRUITBUCKETS? A show of h­ands (note: han­ds, not MANOS (see what I did there?)) in this here thread would be nice, as would your suggestions; let's see if we can round up a posse. Keep an eye turned threadward for time/game updates, or in case things fall through for some reason.

Oh yeah -- If you're on the opposing team, I'm easy to find. I'm the one on your six.

Man, its been eons since playing TF2... It's the only FPS I play just because of its Pixar-on-crack nature.
 
Well, TF2 would work best for me. I have some mods to make it work on my shitty 2004 computer, but it crashes for no reason on occasion. Hell, I was playing the Mario Kart map with my friend at his house last night, and my damn computer crashed by trying to repair a sentry. There's a newer computer in my house though. I'll see if I can use that one.
 
I'm feeling a bit under the weather, and I have to catch up with my math work, but I'll try to make it. Also in favor of TF2 as pretty much everyone on this forum can play it.
 
Y'know, I just checked my computer's specs, and they seem to have the minimum requirements for TF2.
TF2 Requirements:
1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE), Windows® 7 (32/64-bit)/Vista/XP, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

My Computer's specs:
1.46 GB of RAM, DirectX 9.0c, Windows XP (32-bit), Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection, all that shit.
The only kink in the armor is that my graphics card is a Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset card. Otherwise, my computer checks out. Why can't my computer run TF2 correctly? Should I just get that graphics card upgraded?
EDIT: My computer also has a 1.70 GHz Intel Pentium M processor.

You've got plenty of horsepower except for the graphics card. TF2 isn't terribly demanding.
 
TF2 IN ONE HOUR FIFTEEN or thereabouts.

Well, that didn't happen. Apparently, nobody joined but me (and I was using a Mac instead of my regular PC, due to my ass graphics card), and when I tried, it didn't work due to some problem with a LAN server. I tried making my own server, but it froze on the loading screen.
 
DAMN IT.

I had a lot on my plate at the time and could only check in on my phone. Then when I was finally done with it all (dealt with having to get over the sickness, helping out with cooking when it was decided there was no chance of me infecting anything (we had shrimp), and sorting out stuff for my sick dog), my friend realizes he doesn't have a ride home and I had to drive him. On the bright side, we found a station that plays American hard rock as well as Mexican rock which actually isn't pop garbage like the Mexican pop station we have. However, it only plays from a certain time in the evening to midnight. Now I'm sitting here, listening to my brother's stereo blaring Death Grips, and staring at my request message to join TF2. :/
 
I live in Arizona and left to go to dinner just before it was about to start. Otherwise I'd have joined in.
