I swear I am going crazy. I am looking for an early trailer for the Empire Strikes Back that I swear I saw on a tape or lazerdisc when I was a kid. It is different from the trailer that is now listed as the first trailer on ever website and DVD and Bluray I can find. The first thing I remember is that it seemed to have been made when they had just started shooting the film and it was mostly made up of what looked like preproduction artwork instead of footage from the film. The second thing I remember is that it had a different voice over artist narrating the trailer, he sounded nothing like the narrator in the other trailers and he completely botched his pronunciation of Lando's name, to the point where I think the next gut was very careful about making sure he pronounced it the same way it was in the movie in all future trailers, I think the first narrator said it something like LanDU or something like that.
I can't find anything about this trailer anywhere I look and when I look it up everywhere seems to say that the trailer I remember as the second trailer is the first trailer.
Am I nuts, did I dream this trailer, does anyone else remember it?
