I was on totse and totse2 when I was a teenager. I lurked niggasinspace for a bit but lost interest. I won't share my username on there. I'm pretty sure my username on totse can't be linked back to my real identity but I was a teenager then and maybe I used that username in other places
 
I used to lurk Totse. There were autists that dressed as ninjas and crept around their neighborhoods at night and then wrote reports about it like it was a military operation and that was hilarious.
 
I wasn't aware of it and missed out but I had nerd friends who went there and shared files and threads at LANs. Old 4chan also had a lot of totse regulars and the vibe used to be similar, good people on the whole. As good as unhinged shitposters can be, anyway.

It's one of those things that dates you as a person, like knowing what a T1 line is or your modem having a coupler.
 
I spent a decent part of my early teens on totse, it was a pretty fun site overall. Used to love spending long nights reading through the various articles and diving into the threads.
 
I distinctly remember them always using the acronym SWIM (Someone Who Isn't Me) and these idiots actually thought that it was some kind of legal shield that would prevent them from getting in trouble.
 
SWIM remembers killing lots of time on TOTSE and BBS's.

Back in my day if you wanted to get groomed you did it on AOL chatrooms with free dial up CD's.
