I've got a degree in music ed with a minor in trombone performance. My last year in college I was principal trombone in the university wind ensemble, symphony, and jazz band. I also play euphonium and tuba like a boss. I write and arrange music as a hobby, and one day hope to record some of my arrangements.

I also have a ukulele that I've been saying I'll learn how to play for the past year, and a guitar that has been gathering dust for over a decade.
 
I'll be the 3rd trombone player to join in. I play bass trombone in a 40s style big band and a brass quintet, tuba parts. Our quintet had actual decent paying gigs for Easter the previous two weekends. I also play guitar and synth in a synth pop cover band. I write originals on synth, but that's taking a back seat while I finish school and get my newest band up and running.

I was 6 credit hours away from a music minor when I graduated, but could not stand music history enough to finish it.

I'm glad to see lots of non-rock guitarist and non-DJ/PC musicians. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm a bit of both myself. Just good to see diversity.
 
I'm still more of a PC-based musician than anything. :c

That said, it really is nice to see a bit of diversity around these places. Almost get me a bit jealous that I don't really play an instrument that's particularly unusual. Maybe once I get my hands on an organ... *sigh*

Forgot to mention, I've played piano and bass occasionally for church, mostly as a stand-in. As of late I've also been interested in forming a band of sorts, though nobody around me shares that interest.
 
I play bass and guitar, and my friend has been trying to get me brought in to his band to play rhythm and sing backup. They do a lot of covers, but their original stuff is heavily influenced by Sublime. Solo stuff I do a lot of folk and even a bit of old school country.
 
I'm primarily a classical pianist and organist, although I do play folk, blues and jazz from time to time. I also fiddle around on guitar, acoustic bass guitar, melodica and synth when occasion calls for it.
 
I play harmonica and melodica mostly.

Learning tin whistle and trumpet. Pretty hard to find any practice time since I live in an apartment and work two jobs. Trumpet at least I have a mute with one of those headphone systems...not ideal for good habits since it requires more breath but at least no one can hear it, haha.

I would like to learn accordion and bagpipes someday.

I play music as a side hobby, not super serious about it. I like to get good to play with others and have fun but don't have intentions of being professional.
 
I play piano, flute, guitar, synths, and drums. Want to learn Cello. Playing and writing music is sadly the only thing I am or will be able to be good at. Starving artist status, here I come.
 
I have yet to release anything or play any gigs, but I know a little basic stuff on guitar and can sing decently well. I just finished writing two songs...

Well, that's not counting some crap I made earlier this year that sounds like an even worse version of Anal Cunt's music.
 
I play guitar in a band. We do gig regularly and we are finishing up our second album. We do what I call psych-surf. It's psychedelic music heavily informed by 60's instrumental surf music.
 
I play ukulele, mandolin, tenor banjo, accordion and am at present learning fiddle. I also have various novelty instruments - musical saw, jug, kazoo, slide whistle... None of which I'm all that good at. I really want to learn how to play the Hawaiian guitar.

I've been thinking of writing music, but mostly instrumentals, and mostly ragtimey stuff at that.
