They’re all sub human trash who barely make minimum wage. Mainly because a large number of them are from middle class backgrounds who were either kicked out for being degenerates and drug addicts or left because daddy is religious/conservative.

They all wind up wearing and looking like garbage.

I would take a group of literal larpers over considerably better one on one fighters. Fighting en-masse is much more about discipline, being able to hold a line and support the people next to you than individual prowess. March them up there in formation and watch them just slowly push the opposition back until they either fall down and get trampled or get exhausted and go home.

Depends on the LARPer. You start bringing in SCAdians (Society for Creative Anachronism) and it'd get awfully interesting. Those guys (and a few gals) beat the shit out of each other with barely-padded weapons and gear regularly.

Not that that's going to happen, these people aren't really fighting to win. If they were they'd just bring a fucking gun. They're fighting to beat their chests about how big and tough they are. That's why I find the whole punch a nazi thing so painfully transparent. All they do is give those evil nazis exactly what they want in an opportunity to prove how tough they are and the only thing they get out of it is stroking their own tough guy egos.

What are they even fighting over? There's no ground to be taken, there's no supplies to capture. Nobody even gets killed and it certainly doesn't make the nazis change their mind about being nazis, quite the opposite. It's just a pointless punch up because they can't bear the thought that they have to share a world with these people and they have no idea what they can actually do about it.

I've stumbled across some videos of such people, and it looks like a cross between riot cops and autistic flailing, but I have no doubt that it's full contact, with what they described as "rattan sticks wrapped in packing tape."

About the only caveat is that like a lot of sports, SCA combat has rules.

Street fights don't have rules. Show up with live steel 'cause it's not like the other side will let you get up if you get knocked down in full plate.

Trust me, if I were going to borrow some of their gear, I'd be cosplaying as one of those insane Russian pit-fighting-cum-medieval-combat dudes, complete with boot-fucking, shield-bashing, dropping the hilt on heads like a hammer, and all the other dirty shit that legit medieval combatants got up to.

I mean, I saw videos of at least 1 dude in some kind of spartan helmet, but I think that was in a thread here, because he was verging on being a lolcow, alongside his daughter.

Well most of these types probably wasn't the most kindest people to begin with. Sprinkle in some radicalization and a general psychological instability, daddy/entitlement issues and you get antifa. In essence they're just acting on emotion, anger, fighting, rage. That's all it is. I doubt they would be any less of a cunt even if they did not join in their antifa shit. But you are indeed correct in my book. They're literally angsty teenagers refusing to take responsibility and instead lashing out on their perceived enemy in their retarded black and white worldview. And when you think of it that way, is there any wonder why so many support socialist/communist policies were someone else provides for them instead of themselves? It's pure lazyness and entitlement.

Which is also why the anarchist and especially tranny part is the funniest. Yeah good luck on getting prescribed HRT out in the woods and attempting to create your own societal system when you can't even take care of yourself.

Y'know, there comes a point where if you're not going to carry your own pepper spray (let alone a firearm, in an open carry state) when you go to "events" like these, sympathy is going to start to wear thin. Don't let these faggots make you their bitch without any pushback.
 
I did heavy armor fighting with SCA folks back when I was in college. Those guys on average have basic skills that antifa mobs really don't, and muscle memory to boot. A couple of really basic things I remember:

Shields are fucking heavy, and take a lot of energy to hold up for several minutes at a time. Your shield arm will tire before the arm you strike with.

With a blunt weapon you want to pull your blows. This should be intuitive to anyone who has played baseball or done boxing.
Metal helmets are actually garbage. They ruin visibility, and when struck, they ring your dome like crazy, and are probably bad for your hearing.

Despite all good intentions, everyone is going to be getting elbowed and pommelled by their friends if two dozen people are attempting to occupy the same few cubic feet with sticks. No avoiding it unless you only use thrusting weapons. There's also a reason the vast majority of armies fielded throughout history have used spears. They work well in a formation, and in a clusterfuck of a melee the only safe vector is directly forward.

That said, SCA folks have zero experience on the ground, because that goes against their bullshit rose tinted view of the middle ages.

Probably, but bodies on the ground would also force a deescalation for a bit once the various idiots involved get the fact their LARPnig here can have actual consequences, and one big shootout would probably be the excuse federal law enforcement needs to roll in and start asking pointed questions about the failure of state law enforce to crack down on this kind of thing. Antifa dies the nanosecond anyone on thier side or the other side takes their retoric seriously and actually acts on it.

90% of this shit goes on in Portland since mayors elsewhere have learned that having Weimar Republic LARPs every week in their cities is bad for business and their city's image so they let their police do the job of taking the tards off the streets. The mayor of Portland doesn't give a shit about this and makes sure his police don't do a thing. They'd try as hard they could to nail you with first degree murder charges, they'd send their goons to harass you wherever you went (since the media would have your face and name everywhere), they'd get a bunch of SPLC lawyers working pro bono to sue you and your family for millions of dollars, and they'd everything they could to get you to neck yourself and by extension convince everyone that Antifa are the greatest heroes in America for defending the country against people like you.
 
Apparently there was a "MAGA March" in Seattle today. You've seen it before for the most part, though the Seattle PD did muscle the Antifags around a bit. The opening 10 seconds are amusing, as is the spergout at 6:56.

Yeah, I'm fully aware portland in particular is particularly antifa friendly, them turning a blind eye to a bunch of antifa goons riddling a car with bullets after a hit and run was a pretty clear sign (at least I think they turned a blind eye, last I heard there had been no arrests).

But Portland doesn't actually have the political pull to sweep actual bodies under the wrong or ignore state/federal level shit, and the while the media has thus far proved unwilling to actually condemn antifa, they're not dumb enough to back them (or rather, the reporters might be, but their legal department and the actual business side is not).

The FBI have had the chance to "roll in" and ask why state law enforcement doesn't do anything about Zionist antifa violence.

They jailed people who defended themselves against antifa for using the internet to organize going to Trump rallies in California and then protecting themselves from the Zionist attacks.

State level they can easily get away with, since the Governor of Oregon Kate Brown is corrupt and has done nothing on this issue. She is just as derelict in her duty as state governor as the Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler. Those two are to Antifa what George Wallace and Bull Connor were to the KKK. Although I don't know if Governor Brown is in any way dedicated to the Antifa cause more than she is her own personal power and finances so maybe if Antifa did start throwing bombs bigger than firecrackers or shot their enemies she'd do something to save her skin.
