To elaborate on this, Deathspell Omega isn't a NS band but their vocalist Mikko Aspa is NS himself so they're connected to it. Obviously given his politics he's going to backtrack on anything with connections to the extreme right, but it wasn't actually an extreme right record.
A few years ago though he reviewed a Peste Noire album, which is straight up NSBM. They literally had a demo called Aryan Supremacy when they started out.

Not-so-fun fact: Mikko Aspa is also a prolific collector and dealer of morally dubious and illegal pornography. He has a pedophilia themed power electronics (kind of a noise music genre) one-man band that uses CP for album covers, to give you an idea of what he's into.
I'm not even sure why he's into NS stuff, considering most people on the far-right spectrum think pedos should be stabbed to death in prison.
Anyway, it's always the NS ties people like Fantano have a problem with when they're talking about DsO and Mikko, nothing else.

All of his reviews follow a pre-written script, so it wouldn't be shocking if he had some notes on the singles he reviews.
Anyway, I'm surprised nobody has brought up his "vibe checks" that he posts on his Instagram, most of them have some political commentary. Probably nothing of interest but I thought it'd be worth mentioning.

It's the Gentrification/White Flight thing. I'm aware that Aspa might be a paedo (though it's possible he's just trying to be edgy for shock value) but I haven't heard of him using CP on album covers. That's illegal in Finland so I'd be interested to see the source on that. Is the project you're referring to Grunt, or another project?
As for why he's into NS stuff, if the Nazis put up with Dirlewanger, they'd put up with him. They're not a principled bunch.
EDIT: If you're talking about this I don't see any CP album covers here. It's still pretty disgusting though.
