💼 Careercow Anthony Cumia - A once successful radio host crashes and burns, turning on all his fans and the drama around it

My hope is that Bennington's cancer will somehow bring O&A&J back together.
It might bring Ron and Opie back together since they never really had a falling out, just drifted apart due to both having families and their own lives. I don't think Ron will have any dealings with Ant again after the last time he was on Ant's show. That shit was embarrassing for everyone involved and Ron just looked checked out on dealing with Ant and his race hysteria.

You'd have a hard time milking the O&A cast - they just are (ironically) not that funny.

Opie is terminally boring, Ant is delusional and the world has passed him by - but that just makes him a normal boomer in a sea of millions. Norton is the funniest but he's only as gay as was openly admitting to be ~20 or so years ago - him tranny chasing and making horrible life decisions is nothing new.

RE - Stern talk, but, it feels like your opinion on Stern generally hinges on how old you are and when you listened to him. He just seems like a godless heathen who never wanted to be "outdone" even when he no longer wanted to do radio and most of his Sirius run was 100% spite motivated.
Opie would be the most interesting to cover of the bunch; but, he’s such a liar and bullshit artist that it’d be practically impossible to assemble a cohesive backstory/narrative for him. Even the number of siblings he has seems to fluctuate from story to story.

Also, I think you’re exactly right about Stern, I was far too young to listen to Stern in his prime; but, after years of listening to O and A I tried to go back and give him a listen. I really didn’t enjoy it, he’s like a more competent Opie without Ant to carry the funny. Artie is funny asf tho and I love his stories, especially the Mad TV one.

I forgot all about that, and looking back, didn't know Colin Flaherty died 4 years ago. That was such a strange show.

"I'm still hilarious!"

Speaking of which. If Kino Casino ceases coverage of Lulzcows, they could maintain their business by focusing on coverage of Anthony Cumia, Howard Stern, Jim Norton, and Greg Opie for years to come. Shock jocks are proto-lulzcows when it comes to acting like spergs and scumbags. As much people make fun of the O&A cast. They never gotten people killed like Howard stern has.
I'd really love if the Casino ended up covering Ant. They touched on him once or twice, I think the most recent being when Gavin got in trouble drinking while he had that alcohol monitor on and admittedly, it was pretty funny. Really anything is better than DSP coverage.

The fucking second hand embarrassment from that image alone is vomit inducing. However, while I always liked Ron, the way he handled that situation was crazy smooth and put him on a whole other level of respect.

You got to give Ron credit. He was really trying to get through to Ant. It was actually a really sad affair. You could see how desperate Ron was and how much it hurt him to have to even say things like this to Anthony.

Meanwhile Anthony being the coward he is just sat their frozen, proceeding to dodge every point Ron brought up. If it wasn't apparent before this, it demonstrated how little he cares about the people in his life.

I think Ron was more annoyed and then just disgusted. You can see him thinking "why am I even here?". "I can't believe Antony invited me here for this stupid bullshit". A lot of his guests looked embarrassed to go from broadcasting in a professional Manhattan studio to Anthony's basement. Now of course every other podcast is from someone's basement.
