A YouTube series by Dan Bell (who is mainly known for filming dead malls) where him and his friends go to disgusting crack motels and analyze how shit the hotel rooms are. They'll usually book the smallest amount of time they can at these hotel rooms, doing things such as lifting up the beds and seeing if there's stains/drug paraphernalia/other horrors under the bed, looking at the bathroom quality, and other details. It's ran for 2 seasons so far and the season 2 finale just got uploaded. I'd say give it a look. (Gross warning, these rooms are usually pretty bad)

 
Yeah I watched them like a year ago they had one episode where they turned on UV lights and there were massive splotches covering most of the wall behind the bed probably meaning someone had been repeatedly stabbed to death or jizzed all over the wall. :story:

I've only watched the older episodes but it was good shit.
 
Gordon Ramsey did this exact same thing in "Hotel Hell", which ran for four seasons, blacklight and all. I've got nothing against Dan Bell's videos, but if you've seen one, you have seen them all.
 
I liked his Detroit Video where he kept having to stop narrating because people wouldn't stop shooting each other and then in a second video someone lights a car on fire and flees in another vehicle.
 
The last season of ADR isn't as good as the first two (that honeymoon suite episode with Coach Rick...) but its still okay I guess. That one hotel with the peakey holes for the motel owners to spy on the guests, creepy shit.
 
Damn, I'll have to give this a watch. I wonder how many jizz stains I'm gonna see under the UV light in every episode.

Do you know the episode for the peakey holes one? Or, at least the state it was in to narrow down my search?
 
I love travelling, and staying in hotels/motels used to be part of the fun for me. But after seeing these videos...I don't think I'll ever want to stay at a hotel/motel again. Love the series though, can't wait for season 3.

Will turned into a huge faggot though. He went and made a shitty art film with his troon looking girlfriend. It was honestly pathetic and made me glad he was gone.

Also Rick is great. I really enjoyed Dan's videos about the park in Baltimore where people get murdered. I'd only heard of Haemin Lee, but seeing how many others have been dumped there was insane.

I could do without the fucking drag queen in some of the new documentary things he's done though.
 
Really enjoyed the first series, the second had it moments. The one with the jungle themed room where they got way too drunk was both funny and cringe worthy at the same time. I think they got a lot of flack in the comments section for that episode and really toned down the in episode drinking after that.

Someone recently put up a live stream from a year ago recently where Rick threw Will under the bus about his psycho girlfriend making him stop doing the show. Dan Bell appeared in the comments section pissed about this being put on YouTube. Then Will himself appeared and told them a big fuck you. (Pretty sure it's been taken down now.)

Season 3 is supposed to start August 30th, I believe.

I saw the video of Rick talking about Will, and read all the comments, before it was taken down. Will has always been like this with women. He likes to be controlled by them, I guess. His previous GF, before this one, was just as bad and was giving people a hard time on Will's Twitter. She was the reason why Dan came up with the rule of not dating fans. But Will ignored him and started dating this current troon, who was attacking anyone who complimented Will on anything, from his haircut to a photograph he may have taken. So Dan fired him. I guess there is a lot of bitterness between them now, based on the now deleted comments on that video of Rick of YT.
 
Thought I'd bump this thread. Dan B. has been off YT for quite a long time due his bipolar disorder. He posted a video about it a month or so, ago. He was in a very dark place for a long time. He is slowly re-introducing himself on YT with lives on Saturdays. He's essentially driving around looking at crappy motels from the outside. I thought I heard him say (can't confirm it though because I was half listening) that he may be tabling Another Dirty Room. I hope I misheard him but he did mention it's very taxing (editing, costs, travel etc.).

But he does seem to be in a much better frame of mind. His meds are working he said. Maybe he'll find his passion for filming again and start up ADR again, or maybe he'll find something new to film. And as far as I can tell he's still good friends with Rick. During his re-entry phase to YT he did a live from Rick's house. Although I think Rick has started to snow bird in Florida, so he may not be around as much. He does have his own YT channel now according to Dan. He's promoting it so they are still tight.

All the coof bullshit has been hell for people in recovery, no matter what they were in recovery from. Glad he and Rick are both still in one piece. Hope he can film again soon but most important is staying alive.
