I think Caitlyn is a good example of a basic Karen bitch.
She only likes what she likes, which is a very small amount of niche titles, and if she knows it's something her "friends " like, but she doesn't, instead of being honest, she just gives these very pissy, passive aggressive reviews.
That's why I can't stand her, like honey, that you don't like things I like isn't my problem, it's that you're so fucking mealy mouthed about it.

People-pleasers make for the worst critics. Something must've happened in her social life as a kid that made her terrified of having her own personal opinion even in a friend circle, but she never made the effort to stick to her guns and fuck what other people think about your thoughts. It's totally okay to not like your friends' favorite shows and be open about it, that's what makes discussion so enthralling. If they get mad at you for not liking it, that's on them, and you need better friends who won't lose their shit over a difference in tastes so easily.

Hot take though, Pureore was a multimedia project destined for failure as it is doing this bad and the Game it was meant to promote is going EoS soon. Even without the cute girl hate, Pureore wasn't good enough for someone who wanted to see hockey be part of the sports anime pantheon and instead gets used as some throwaway MMP where not even the Love Live Seiyuu can resuscitate the series.

Honestly the fact I just learned he is an actual school teacher is a bigger shcok to me. I am amazed they allowed him to remain as part of the moderator staff instead of ostracizing him completely even though he has potential red flags based on his interests and the fact he is willing to give this kind of stuff a wider berth
