Oh God I could a-log Ryukishi for hours, but there is an already dedicated thread.

'Smoking Behind the Supermarket With You' seems like it will be peak romance sloppa which is right up my alley. 'Yani Neko' is quite silly based on it's premise. 'Goodbye Lara' has an art style that I absolutely adore. It looks like those Ghibli AI edits but actually drawn

what are you guys looking for?
Grand Blue S3, Clevatess S2, new GitS, Nige Jouzu no Wakagimi S2, Tenmaku no Jaadugar, maybe Tetsunabe no Jan! and Let's Go Kaiki-gumi. Seihantai S2 depends on whether I can make time to watch season 1, which was well received by this thread; I don't mind romantic anime, but I rarely watch them of my own accord.

Should make for a fun weekend evening. I might pick up something halfway through the season because of recommendations, but so far nothing else really seems interesting enough.

Well i watched Season 1 of "Those Who Hunt Elves"
I had fun with it, though that could've been due to the dub being a gag dub. I have a soft spot for gag dubs lol, but the second season stopped that, which is why I haven't returned to it. But I dunno, maybe I'm just a little miffed the main elf chick is stuck in a doughy cat body for the majority of the time.

Now "Angel Blue" slaps. The OP animation really should've hit harder to match.

Well i watched Season 1 of "Those Who Hunt Elves" basically 3 people get summon to another world and after beating the big bad (like in 1 minute) they decide to return to their world and to do that their summoner needs to use incanation but during the incantation she was distracted and it broke and went all over the world and got applied to random 5 elves and now they travel the world stripping elves to see if they have the mark.
Main thing that got me was that the characters are using T-74 tank as their means of transport (that later gets possesed by cat spirit)

"The elves of Middle Earth never faced a foe as terrifying, as determined, as down right demented as Those Who Hunt Elves. Strongman Junpei, Hollywood actress Airi, teenage Ritsuko and their T-74 tank have landed in a world of elves, and the spell to send them home has run amuck and split into five pieces that appear as tattoos on the bodies of five young female elves. So they set out on a quest to strip every elf they can lay their hands on until they find the missing spell pieces. Get ready for the wildest, craziest fantasy ever animated as Those Who Hunt Elves prove that elf stripping is more than just a job; it's an adventure!"
Awesomely horrible theme song too.

I'm not sure if Vinland Saga is good or not. I'm pretty deep in the first season and it's interesting but very boring IMO

It's definitely not a bad show by any means. It looks great too. Might need to take a break and come back to it later and rewatch
I've always referred to Vinland Saga as "My first Seinen". It has that maturity that a lot anime that makes it into the West, especially in the mainstream, tends to lack and I think that the slower pacing and slightly more thoughtful than normal story helps with that. It lets you get a more mature story and characters without going completely down the Berserk/GiTS/Cowboy Bebop rabbit hole of super dark and heavy sort of shit.

Nothing, at least after a cursory glance nothing really piqued my interest. Maybe Tanja the Evil as a novelty since I didn't expect that series to be continued at all. But I also never really keep up with weekly seasonal stuff and rather watch a complete show whenever I feel like it.
Clevatess season 1 was good, I'd give it a go since season 2 is coming this summer.

Not an isekai ? No dumb CGI ? Did hell freeze over ? I might watch the first season since I haven't watched anything in a while now.
The Manga is also from the guy who wrote Darker Than Black which I haven't read but I've heard a lot of good things about.

Interesting, Darker Than Black is also on my list so maybe it's a good time to finally get around to do that too.
