I've been wanting this for over a decadeIt was rumored for a while but Dengeki Daisy is actually getting an anime. Is this a new trend now to just adapt old ass shoujo titles? Not that I'm complaining. Bold of them to choose this one in 2027, we'll have to see how the internet handles it.

They're spilling into original manga-only series too. I forgot the name of that manga that started an internet war because some localizer fucked with the original translation and mentioned said character was trans or some shit. Oh and apparently said character was a main character. What do these unsuspecting seasonal anime characters have in common? They're all trannies!
Getting closer to a Black Bird anime, please, Kami-sama.It was rumored for a while but Dengeki Daisy is actually getting an anime. Is this a new trend now to just adapt old ass shoujo titles?
Translators will just change the subsVer archivo adjunto 9124811
Something tells me this joke is not gonna make it into the modernized adaptation.
The Nip attitude towards faggots and troons is probably best summarized as follows: they see it as fetishistic perversion, but they are slightly more tolerant of fetishistic perversion than Westerners. The Nips will not hang you from a lamppost for being a fag, but they will quietly judge you, and they will not consider homosexual relationships to be equivalent to heterosexual ones. They don't consider trannies to be heckin valid real wahmen, they consider them to be creepy sex perverts, but they will "represent" them in media for the same reason they represent panty thieves, pedophiles, sisterfuckers, and other degenerates in media.Japs don't like troons and homos. They have an unique character type to make fun of both.
Japanese normies, like western normies, will like troons and homos if they look good and fit within their vision of the degeneracy. Women will like KPop faggots, and men will like good looking lesbian whores.Japs don't like troons and homos. They have an unique character type to make fun of both.

In the Jap lolcows thread, I wrote this:Japanese normies, like western normies, will like troons and homos if they look good and fit within their vision of the degeneracy. Women will like KPop faggots, and men will like good looking lesbian whores.
The only real difference with the west is that if they don't look good the normies will still tolerate them as long as they are funny, which happen quite a lot when trannies show up in anime as a bar mother.
It is very useful to remember that Japan (as well as all countries outside of the US in general) has always had its own organic and native LGBT culture that was separate from the 21st-century American gendertranny delusion, that due to the internet and the sheer cultural and economic power of the US and its social media/corporate/NGO sphere, has started to infect all LGBT cultures worldwide to Americanize all of them (which is ironically a godsend for homophobes).
When the same yearly slop news survey of "Japanese people approve gay marriage" pops up, even if this is true, when you talk about "gay people" to the average Japanese person walking on the street, they do not think about an obese Discord porn addict who has trooned out due to too much Hentai consumption, and will fight tooth and nail to make the entirety of the planet to conform to their fetish.
You can see on X how much utterly alien and incomprehensible the American genderspecial cult that always invades Anime and Manga discussion looks like to even progressive and left-leaning Japanese people, even towards Japanese people that are gay themselves, and outright make Yuri/Yaoi manga, even this demographic will always be baffled by the bizarre gender religion that the Americans have spawned over the past decade, and are now attempting to completely ossify all LGBT subcultures and movements worldwide to conform to them.
Is that the Cyndi Lauper song? If it's integral to the plot, I could see them paying the big bucks to license it for the anime but only if it's a once-off.Ver archivo adjunto 9128370
This right here is gonna be the shit-test for the anime adaptation. Calling it now.
So they're not gonna use this version:Is that the Cyndi Lauper song? If it's integral to the plot, I could see them paying the big bucks to license it for the anime but only if it's a once-off.
That's an entirely different song with the same title. I'm not familiar with that manga at all so it may be the Rod Stewart song for all I know (or another song with the title "Time After Time"), I just assumed that they were talking about the Cyndi Lauper "Time After Time" because I'd heard that Cyndi Lauper was quite popular in Japan. So they're not gonna use this version:

It's most likely Cyndi Lauper's version of the song since she's the one who's popular in Japan and the guy specifically mentions that this version is "the original". Which would be the Cyndi Lauper version. That's an entirely different song with the same title. The other version is a different song. I think Sinatra sang it originally. It's most likely Cyndi Lauper's version of the song since she's the one who's popular in Japan and the guy specifically mentions that this version is "the original". Which would be the Cyndi Lauper version.
I don't listen to Rod Stewart.Rod Stewart's version is a different song
