Is the film adaption of the Kaguya in Love finale good? I remember reading that the manga was a shitshow.
>Chapter 130 something, they kiss, 3 chapters later they forget about it
God I hate this endless treadmill every manga seems to reach. At least domesticated girlfriend ENDED. Beats every other 'good' romance.

Honestly people claim Sword of the Stranger is only good for this scene, and I kind of get why but I like the movie as a whole. I'm a big sucker for those lone wolf and cub plots.

For alot of people "simple" means bad. It has a very simple story that you can remember years later.

Started reading Land of the Lustrous. Interesting art style, but not sure what to think of the story so far.

As for Cyberpunk, I finished it today. It's a good show, which mostly stems from its melancholic tone. I didn't even mind the lack of explanation and lore for a lot of its inner workings. But its best part, the character drama was lacking, which a couple more episodes could have improved a lot. It looked mostly fine, with some rough patches here and there. The general structure of the story was ok, but the pacing was a bit off, especially midway through. I think the ending tied it up neatly.

I am not really in the mood to try CP 2077 again, maybe someone can tell me with the series captured the tone of the game well, then I might reconsider that. Not sure about a second season of Edgerunners, but I guess the first one was too much of a success to just drop the IP.

In order to appreciate CP as an adult you have had to experince SA as a child.

(as someone who played 2077 after watching the anime the game was ok open world is honestly rather shit its only good when you are going from mission to mission and nothing else dlc same to me game had no replay value but each to their own i got 100h out of it which is good enough)

So I just checked out An Adventurer's Daily Grind at Age 29, and I enjoyed it more than I expected up until the end of the first episode. I literally went (>.<) at the adopted little girl turning into an adult succubus at night, and implying she was horny. I wanted a cute father/daughter show and you had to go and do that. At least it told me early instead of pulling an Usagi Drop...

Thankfully Scum of the Brave was a lot better in the adoptive father and daughter story that it seems to be shaping up to be, so I am hoping that will be a fun watch. So far I enjoyed it for what it is. I like that the adult Braves really are just trashy bounty hunters, especially the end where the "nice" friend encourages the hero to go help his new daughteru, then immediately after the hero leaves, puts 30k in the betting pool on him dying lol. Definitely got a decent chuckle out of me.

>doesn't like Code Geass

She is never going to make it. You must make her eat at least 6 Pizza Hut pizzas now.
So we're only on the first episode, she seemed interested, but she just didn't like the pacing of the first episode. So I'm hoping to show her more and see how she likes it.

Zatch Bell 2 continues to be peak. We finally have an adult version of this jobber child demon:

I've been meaning to get back into that, how is it overall?. I remember by chance going back to read the original manga since I loved the anime as a kid. By pure luck, this was after the sequel came out and I hadn't even known until I wrapped up the original manga. This was a while ago, so the last thing I really remember is Tio coming back and got all weirdly buff.
