Very sad to read this, I only found out about her condition recently but looking through her interactions with others, she seemed to handle it with incredible grace and patience.

46 is so young and she left a lasting impact on so many people through characters she voiced.

Rachel hadn't been Jessie since the changing of the guard—I actually think she was semi-retired before her diagnosis or had potentially been blacklisted, not sure.

Also Jessie's current VA is a well-documented cunt who can't take criticism and protects her fellow coworker Daman Mills, who's a predator. She's nothing like Rachel.

This. Michele Knotz replaced Rachael as Misty and Jessie in 2006 and is a pedo-defending bitch. It should’ve been her.

I remember being a kid finding out what Pokemon was for the first time when I saw kids running around the playground showing off their new cards. That led me to the TV show and that's what I looked forward to every Saturday morning. I legitimately had no idea until now that she voiced not only Misty but Jessie as well. The show wouldn't have been the same, or as good, without her.

And I agree, 46 is way too young to die of breast cancer. This is way too tragic for someone as talented as her. May she rest in peace.
 
I cannot wait for her to be replaced by some axewound having tranny rape apologist, so that the last bastions of joy from times past can be over written to suit the perverted pleasures of a fraction of the population.

RIP. You were a generational talent, and beloved by millions.

I still don't understand what happened with the pokemon VA situation years after the fact. They replaced everyone and didn't even try getting sound alikes in some cases so you have weird shit like the OG professor oak who according to several sources was given voice direction on how to sound by the JP nintendo guys getting replaced by a generic mildly enthusiastic deep voiced narrator guy. Not a voice you'd expect from a guy that looks like oak and the JP version still sounds-

Wait as I was typing this I looked it up and it's even more schizophrenic than you'd expect.
The JP ones all sound kind of similar and changed VAs a few times, but the english one from kinda simialr to nothing like it then went BACK to having a similar voice only to then go back to the deep generic voice and then the oak-ish (but more inspector gadget-y) voice in the fucking MOBILE GAME of all things. Also there are some pedo ass sounding voices between them in the english department.
All different VAs by the way.

TPCi are just a bunch of cheap bastards who probably don't take Nintendo's advice anymore. It's so weird how the dub quality hasn't changed despite Lisa Ortiz, a veteran VA herself, taking over as ADR director.
 
That's so sad and she was so young. It happened when my brother and I decided to watch Pokémon 2000 and I was reading about the voice actors. Kind of a spooky coincidence. The same thing happened when I watched Clue and Martin Mull died the same day.

I really loved the show as a kid. Her and Eric Stuart were so good in their roles.
