It is an eternal shame that cool world didn't stick with the original script that had a real person impregnate a toon and then leave them both, so that the hybrid would go to the real world to murder its father. Something very compelling about that original idea.

Didn't help that Kim Basinger wanted to make it kid friendly and the producer she was fucking messed with the script so much that Bakshi ended up telling animators to just do whatever the fuck they wanted with each scene, it didn't matter anyways.
