Anime Computer Screens Display the Most Interesting Text

This is a medical readout from Gundam Wing:

In KareKano there was an NCC-1701 bottle label
I also enjoy when you pause and get to see the book pages characters are reading, like when you catch Rei reading advanced molecular biology in German.

On this site, you'll find that one of the filler texts was Ikuhara's story about seeing a tranny prostitute.

This gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "never the TWAIN shall meet!"

I loaded up End of Evangelion again to see if I could find the computer text I remembered. I didn't find that one (I would probably have to re-watch the entire movie and I'm just not in the mood) but I did happen to land on something else:

I... think this is the history of Studio Gainax?

Later on I'll go through Lupin: Angel Tactics to see if I can find the one that rambles about western anime fans.

Yeah basically they play with it but yeah that's more or less their history with Eva people instead

Considering how bad the animation was in the King's Game anime, it was surprising that they drew a detailed computer screen with text. Granted it's not that detailed, since it's just a Command Prompt window:

There's a sequence in the movie Dirty Pair: Project Eden where their cat-dog-bear thing is flipping through channels on a monitor. Honestly that short sequence is a goldmine of easter eggs (featuring also a document about Doraemon, a concept art for some other anime, and clips from Crusher Joe) but I decided to just cap and display the two bits I found the most interesting.

I had actually heard that Star Trek isn't that well known in Japan, but clearly it kinda-sorta is.

That's not even the only time they dropped Trek in DP
The ova with the kids I think has a display with
L. NIMOY
W. SHATNER
G. TAKEI
etc

In the 5th episode of Transformers called "Roll For It", if you pause at the part when Chip is reading the anti-matter formula on his computer, it's actually just an obscene message in romaji that translates to:
"Ah, I need a woman. Ain't there any hot babes around? Let's call it a day, get home quick and hit the sack. Hey, Habara, did you pop your cherry yet? Let's go to Soapland some time."
