Not sure if anyone has ever heard or seen these, and I didn't see a topic for them, but there are two hilariously bad (and cringe-worthy) movies based on James Cameron's Titanic.

First one is Titanic: The Legend Goes On.

Featuring charming songs such as this:

Second one is The Legend of the Titanic.

It doesn't look as animu as you see there. Trust me.
(Funnily, both feature rip-offs of Disney characters. Seriously, there's even a Cinderella rip-off with a gold dress.)

This one also has some trippy stuff like flying dolphins.

(Sadly, that doesn't show just how weird that whole scene is.)

Has anyone seen or heard of these movies?
They're good for snarking, but I wouldn't play them back to back. The art and bizarre storylines are abso-fukken-lutely hilarious.
Oh, and that second one? It got a sequel.

For Titanic: The Legend Goes On you can take a drink every time the movie ripoffs a completely different movie or franchise.

For The Legend of the Titanic take a drink every time it makes no fucking sense.

Curiously both movies ripoff An American Tail. Maybe I'm just grasping at straws, but at the very least they were quite...inspired by the art design and the whole "European mice seeking a new life in America" thing.

Nobody would survive the movies.
...though that might actually be a blessing. Still, the movies are so hilariously bad. (Or just bad, depending on how you look at it.)

Does it help that they're both Italian?
(EDIT: Not saying Italians rip off stuff.)

If anything, this was most likely a case of "follow the leader." Both are trying to cash in on Cameron's success. Also, Disney and Don Bluth.
The first film mentioned was made after the other, which means it's probably following the guys following the leader?

Here's the reviews of the Titanic animated films done by the Nostalgia Critic.

I only know these movies from the nostalgia critic, but they look absolutely horrendous/hilarious. We should synchtube them sometime!

They definitely are. I've seen them myself.

And I have no idea how I've gone this long without seeing the Nostalgia Critic's reviews on it.

Holy shit, Tentacolino...I actually watched that movie on YouTube when the Nostalgia Critic's staunch refusal to review it piqued my interest. That movie blew my mind so many times. I think they were on drugs when they made that movie.

They were probably on drugs for the first one, too.

What gets me is that both of them call what happened on the Titanic a LEGEND.

I'm still waiting for a hindenburg disaster film with rapping ocelots and talking mice

Oh and Tentacolino has a rapping shark with a phallic fin who hates the color yellow even though he is yellow...

Yo I'm really happy for you and imma let you finish, but Kanye West is the gayest autotuned singing fish of all time! OF ALL TIME!

Listen to both songs at the same time and horrify those around you as your eyes roll into the back of your skull and blood seeps from all your orifices!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO, you might've just given them an idea! :cryblood:

What is with these films and rap.
I'm not sure what's worse: the songs or the recycled animation all throughout them.

That probably explains why rap somehow exists in 1912.
To be fair that was the invention of the American dubbers. Who actually animated their own little clips to stuff into the musical segments (you can tell because the animation gets even worse).

As for that shark...I hate to say it but he's actually anatomically correct. Dead serious.

Once again, who had that idea? Seriously. It was terrible.

I'm surprised they didn't try to edit it out a la 4Kids.

Having heard of Tentacolino, I remember seeing a part where there was this thing that played the bag pipes after firing a cannon. Also remember seeing a dog zap a mouse with a laser gun.

I seriously need to know who the hell came up with that idea.
And the flying dolphins. That's trippy as fuck.

And the magical tears that cause the dolphins to talk (I think)

Also there was a part when the octopus actually takes a breath in before going underwater.

Oh so the Legend begins was Italian, I thought it was like some Japan co production because the human characters look like designs you would see in older anime. But then again roto scoping isn't used in anime very often.
