I think you mean "Copyright policies", Youtube isn't defining new laws at which it operates independent of & deviating from actual federal laws.

I thought so, too, though I figured it was probably abandoned due to a lack of funds. I have no hope for the final product to be watchable based on PQH, but I actually find it strangely admirable that they are still moving forward with it.

Saw the review a few weeks ago. It got to the point where I actually had to watch the movie (Cary Elwes is the best part, all the songs get stuck in your head though, and they aren't good songs to begin with). The thing I like about Brad is that he actually reviews stuff that is either interesting, obscure or underrated, or is so messed up that you need to see it.

With Critic a lot of the time it's "I remember it so you don't have to" which kind of implies "I review it so you don't have to watch it" unless he actually tells you to watch the film.

The thing is having a better, more clear idea of what is considered fair use on Youtube is great. I mean no doubt bigger companies have used their status to get things unrightfully taken down.

Just that having Doug Walker as the face of it makes the whole thing feel a bit silly.

True as that may be, the problem is that YouTube's honoring copyright claims by people who don't even own the damn thing to begin with. You figure someone would take a look and ask "Why the fuck is this guy claiming copyright for something Warner Brothers made, yet did jack shit on?"
