It's probably below some trigger threshold that would make the feds all that interested, but a state might be. Also, most illegal gambling laws require the prize be "something of value." I suppose Dobson could make the defense that anything he creates is completely worthless.
 
The federal and state authorities have more important things to worry about. Dobby wouldn't even register.

I do however think Patreon should be aware of the terrible breach of ToS and how he is openly denying a paying supporter. Even if the prize violates their service.

It might be interested in Patreon if they consistently don't shut things like this down, because if they don't, they will eventually attract actual crooked lotteries for real money. I have no idea whether that's the case.
 
Patreon will shit themselves and do nothing most likely.
Type Patreon raffle into your search engine and see all the hits of people doing the exact same thing as Dobson.

Whether or not they can separate fiction from reality, they not only think that they can, they believe that they are the only ones who can. "Problematic" tropes and media are fine for them because they are enlightened enough to handle it, as evidenced by their spouting the "correct" political beliefs. Anybody who doesn't have the correct political beliefs can't even be trusted to wipe their own butt, let alone distinguish between fiction and reality, and thus needs to be controlled by the enlightened PC class.

I am certain that if Dobson provided an honest answer about whether, say, inflation porn, or lesbian porn, or ultra-skinny models with skin-tight uniforms (and scrotum hair), was ok for him to be viewing, he would say something that would boil down to the above rationalizations. But good luck getting any answer from Blockor, the fastest blocking finger in the West.

Assume half of them own a NextGen-console, that's 27.
The WiiU has a market share of 22%, that's 7 people.
Assume one of four people with a WiiU buys Mario Maker. That's one, maybe two people.
Dobson is doing something for Patreon, only two people there can even look at.

Also, it doesn't surprise me that Dobson would attempt 3D Animation on a really crappy program. Really? Dude couldn't even spring for Blender?

I think he would if he found out about all the morphs he could use to make girls fat. Though I think he'd be turned off by how you have to pay real money for them (unless he torrents them or finds a site that gives them away for free).

Which just sends shivers down my spine thinking about it.
 
I still don't think his college days stuff is good (it really strikes me as amateur level stuff, very lifeless and flawed overall), but it's leagues better than what he's doing now. I don't understand how someone can fall so low.
Chris's art is at least consistent.
 
Speaking of his old college works, does anyone have that video of some of his older animation on it? I specifically remember there being an animation of Spot, his marsupilami fan character, included in the video.

The animation wasn't super amazing by any means but in comparison to the Korra-Asami one, it was so much smoother. At least if it's like how I remembered it.

Good point. You know how it is - people who lead strict moral lives have the dirtiest minds. And given Dobson's previous incarnation as Catty N and the fact 99.978% of his current output is lesbianism... Well. If he really believes what he says regarding desensitization and entitlement, he seriously needs to resist temptation and maintain a strong sense of self-control.
