I know, it's from 2009, but looks like Horny Mid-20s Dobs didn't have as much of a problem with Samus' Zero Suit after all.

Spoiler: Percy fails at Pasta

There's just so much wrong here.
The fact that this entire character is a blatant Detective Conan rip-off isn't even the worst aspect. I mean, Dobby wants to portray him as some sort of clue-interpretation genius in the second and third panel where he finds out why his friend was late, but the way it is done, it's just really lame. The way this "Percy" character talks is also annoying as fuck. Wouldn't know how good Dobson is at talking eloquently, but the outcome with this character is just fucking cringe-worthy. "Of the utmost importance"... really? It just feels unnatural and forced, somehow.
But what really gets me is the fact how this gookface sidekick looks almost exactly the way Dobson portrayed his former roommate. Knowing Dobson, this Percy clown is a self insert that embodies Dobs misbelief of his own unquestionable, unchallengeable and uncomparable wit and intelligence.
It's just a one page throw-away gag and it still allows such a deep insight into Dobs mind.
