Dobbles seems like the type to have no or few friends. And the friends he would have only tolerate him to be nice.
But he's very secretive about his life off the internet so we wouldn't know unless someone who knows him came forward
 
FIne, let's go into this.
1. Many regular edf posters go in the Tom Preston thread to discuss politics, porn and sometimes even discuss Tom Preston. This includes people who were mods before the post ratings took over (it's complicated). Some people only post there because they care about nothing else. These people are jokes.
2. I am not ignored there. It still go there from time to time but it is conquered territory. They know they'll get punished if the make fun of the bear. They like to praise me.

3. Tom Preston is improving at his own pace. And it's a decent pace.

Dobson is not improving. In fact, it's a joke he's getting into animation at this point and there's no point in even considering it now given he blew off ten years to make any difference.

"Conquered" as in no one gives a shit anymore and call you out regularly on your bullshit then sure, you conquered them. No one praises you in the least bit. No one LIKES you there and are constantly voicing that. I frequent there since back on page 900 and trust me, no one gives a horse shit about you.

I take it back; I can believe you and Tom could be friends given how delusional and pathetic you both are.

A+ for turning this forum in to your happy place and getting off topic. Back to our regular Dobbear.
 
I have never seen anyone devolve at something like Dobson has, it's actually really goddamn interesting like how does it happen

Even Chris got slightly better at drawing
 
Something that bothers me about Dobson is the fact his art has DEGENERATED over the years.

I've seen the early Sonichu and compared it to the later issues, and even Chris got slightly better over time, if only by an infinitesimal amount, but Dobson has somehow managed to go from passable art to utter shit and beyond as the years have gone by.
 
Dobby's animation has gotten worse overtime too. This point has been brought up before, but he really did put a lot more effort into his student films than what he's been doing. The most egregious example of how bad he's gotten as an animator has to be that really choppy animation he did for his Patreon.

I think that's maybe because I don't think Dobson ever really cared about art, it was his only real marketable skill and he just kept doing it but never really enjoyed it. There may have been a time he liked drawing but that time has clearly passed.

It's because Nookie Bear had wildly unrealistic expectations of what being an artist was going to be like. He thought he could scribble some doodles and he would have a job at Disney and a harem of dick hungry lesbians handed to him on a silver platter. When he learned he would actually have to put effort into refining his craft he stopped giving a shit.
 
Dobson's art has been "improving" over the years in the same manner that milk "improves" after you leave it out in the sun for too long.

I think I know the reason to that: Chris likes what he's drawing. He did Sonichu for himself first, and other people second. Dobson doesn't seem passionate about art. It's almost as if he's doing it like any menial job.
 
Alright, I've only read the ED article, and I'm honestly wondering how can this thread be so active after all this time. Didn't Dobson lost almost all his DA followers? Did he never learn despite all the criticism?
(I'm sorry if this doesn't bring anything to the discussion but I didn't know where to put it)
