I'm curious as to how that Minecraft server thing would work. Would he shut the server down if the Patreon went below the mark? Would he be scheduling his Minecraft appearances so he could play with his fans? Does he even have Minecraft on his computer?

It's pretty tragic/pathetic, from what I can see the last time he played Minecraft was before the water spraying incidence in 2012 when he was friends with a couple of other artists in a comic artist group called Fresh Epics (Dobby, Humon, Stupidfox comics and a couple other people) and Dobby made some Minecraft lets play videos for that group, this was years ago and there is no evidence any of them even talk to him anymore but it might be that Dobby is in denial and doesn't realize everyone else seems to have moved on. (This might also be who Dobby is referring to when he says "I'll be able to do a podcast with some friends")

I'm actually interested in seeing his process first hand, maybe if he gets enough mods to control the weening he could actually have a friendly chat with the people there.

DNJACK's MO is challenging people who find Dobson fascinating because he doesn't get it. The Dobson thread on EDF (where he's from) is the biggest joke on their website and they hate the people there. So he's come here to try and ruffle the feathers of our Dobson thread because they've all learned to ignore him.

Long story short, Dobson is interesting because he consistently fails to improve even when given the chance. His thread is the observation of him slowly circling the drain, like how an astrologist would check in on the 10 year crash course of a comet destined to plow into Mars.

Hello folks.

As a friend of Tom Preston, I have plenty of information for you.

First off a couple of haters won't stop him. I can confirm new art is coming, and that he will continue his travel on the artistic path. I'm sure most of you will be glad to hear that.

Secondly, he is thinking about moving behind a real paywall. Patreon has proven his real fans are willing to pay and he needs to protect himself from the cyberbullies that get more aggressive every week.
