I repeat: Dobson has been triggered. This is not drill!

More tales from dickhead mountain.

Not going to disparage anyone with an unpopular opinion because it's unpopular, but a few pages back I've noticed this "Benefit of the Doubt" platform is being used... What universe is anything Dobson done positively a legitimate turn for the better? He takes his "internal" conflicts on cultures not to mention burns bridges over cultural holidays.

He's going to do it again some day guys, don't go lean on him now.

Here is the proof. More or less.
The preview pages for Patty, pretty much summing up the first "chapter" of the story. Not only is Patty a dick who walks around in something I normally see at building workers, but the entire plot is setin motion because supposedly some random girl that only came new to school is falling in love with her. Why? Because she is "cute"? Please, just read the pages and tell me what the hell is cute about Patty.

Oh, man. That comic is bad. Like, really, really bad. And this is what he was creating while at college?
I mean...I just...it's so...hwaurghhh.

I would've either let this rot on DrunkDuck or removed it from the face of the internet, but then again I'm not Dobson. I guess exploiting morbid curiosity for sake of cash is a good business idea in a conman's eye, although he probably thinks he has enough fans that want to see his old work enough to pay for it. Judging from the fact he actual has patrons on his account, that sadly could be case.

It would have to be extremely morbid curiosity - from lulu.com, £8.51 in the UK (that's almost $13) - before postage. Oh, and this should make you laugh - a paperback copy of "Alex Ze Pirate Vol. 1" - a snip at £21! (That's over thirty guvking dollars...)

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to politely decline as, honestly, I can see that being nothing but a horrible idea. Dobson is like a slightly more pathetic, more easily triggered Mr. Enter. He's easier to mock and he has more defined lolcow traits, but overall he... just doesn't have enough content to warrant a subforum, unless you wanna rope all of his Twitter SJW asspats into one group, but we already have a thread on Community Watch for SJW's and a subforum on Tumblr for the special snowflake Tumblrinas.

Yes, having separate threads would probably allow people to more easily dig up and laugh at Alex Ze Pirate, So You're A Cartoonist, and the rest of Dobson's shite, but the problem with them is that they're... not really "Sonichu" levels of terrible. We're not talking about a comic with a Way Past Cool Totally Original Electric Hedgehog Pokemon, Transformers, an Anchuent Prophecy, and a bent duck. It's a comic about Dobson's fetishes or Dobson's triggers and strawmen, which both basically boil down to "Dobson is a terrible artist and an all-around terrible person." There's not a lot to deconstruct there. To really get content out of Dobson that would necessitate or justify a subforum would be more active trolling and pestering him on Patreon and Twitter outside of capping his Tweets and uploading his Patreon work for public use. The last time we did that shit was with Jay Geis, the heroic dA Golden Knight, and when everyone jumped on that bandwagon he basically burned the crops, salted the field, and vanished from the public eye. While some people might want Dobson to shut up and never return, I honestly prefer seeing him slowly crash and burn like he is now.

Like, no offense, but giving Dobson a subforum is like acknowledging that he's worth such focused discussion. ... And he really isn't. He's a mediocre artist with an inflated ego, and when the SJW bubble finally collapses under the weight of its own hypocrisy, he'll be the first person to get crushed.

(Also subforums tend to attract a lot of White Knights and other trolls and if the Entersphere was any indication of what to expect, then I don't want to know what levels of idiocy that Dobson's Facebook White Knights are capable of spewing.)

You know, I think overall you're right. A subforum is a nice idea, but I hate the idea of doing anything that might (however slight the chance) further inflate Dobson's ego. (Sorry, couldn't resist...) Or conversely, cause him to pack it in completely. As for white knights - well, I'm honestly not sure Dobson has any "fans" prepared to do more than offer meaningless asspats... But supposing he does have actual white knights ready to take up the cudgels on his behalf , I agree they could be amusing to begin with, but also likely to become rapidly tiresome. A shame, in a way, because I still think separate threads for separate works could really help to encourage discussion. (And I must respectfully disagree with your suggestion that there's little to deconstruct - on the contrary, I consider the man a bottomless well of dreadful, fascinating fail!) But still, you're quite right - not at all worth the disadvantages.

*takes a pin to the idea of a Dobson subforum and...

This is from 2002 by the way. You know, when he already WAS at college.
Ah, college, we can only imagine how that went.

Anyway, I still have to catch up to Dobsons shenanigans from the last weeks, but it's good to see good old Dobs doesn't change a thing and he's still a prick telling people what to do while he does exactly the opposite.

I think Patty's outfit bears a certain resemblance to Alex Ze Pirate...Come on Dobson, you gotta be able to come up with better character designs then that!
On another note, I can see the PattyxNadia relationship working if it was Patty who falls for Nadia, not vice versa. She could be this surly, almost abrasive, character (not a bully, though) but with a little bit of a softer side that she doesn't let show. Nadia could touch that softer side, and be the one who mellows her out into a less rough person.

Here's a fun game: take a usual Dobby post...

...and give it a proper Dobot response.
