I just love how he pats himself in the back about having diverse characters
So he has a asexual cartoony beaver.
A straight white male.
A lesbian woman and a bisexual woman
so fucking progressive! the only gay characters are the atractive woman that he can fetishise
The worst things for me about the picture?
1. He is talking about the sexuality of his characters as if it is THE most important thing about them. Meaning he cares nothing at all about anything else for Alex. Which is just proven by his lack of story and development in over 15 years. Yeah, as autistic as it sounds, but I am one of these people who kinda cares for the creation of others. I believe that many ideas have potential and that when they flop it is mostly because of execution. As such it saddens me if any potential that an idea may have had gets pretty much curbstomped because the creator is a total asshole or makes his characters part of his personal agenda instead of their own story.
2. The faces look awful. I really don't know what it is, but by trying to make his characters look more western in style and less like if Dobson just copypasted from a Rumiko Takahashi manga, he made the characters uglier. Alex now really looks like some man woman in my opinion, Sam looks like he is retarted and Atea looks less like a young woman and more like someones 50 year old aunt who tries to wear the stuff of her grandniece.
Something he managed to achieve mostly by giving everyone what looks for me like a pig's nose.

He hasn't played a single Metal Gear title either. Yet he seems totally fine going off on a tear about it, despite posting this shit just a bit ago.
Personally, I can't wait for more of his MGS sperging. His xenophobia about Japan comes out on full display when he gets mad about Kojima, and its great seeing people call him on it. Given that the game comes out in a few days, I have a feeling we'll be getting plenty of "outrage" and "freaking out" from Dobson.

It also proves that Dobson writes characters like a horny, 15-year-old teenager. His entire knowledge about writing characters probably stems from watching lots and lots of cartoons. No wonder something like "Steven Universe" or "My Little Pony" (which both have good writing for kids shows) blows his mind. I bet he never picked up a book on how to plot stories, let alone a decent novel with good characters.
Yes... He has more ladies wearing skin-tight latex in his character roster than males...

I would suggest he reads Discworld (wich has also one of the most badass elderly woman in fantasy fiction) but then he would probably whine about how Terry Pratchett was an evil brit and admit he is glad the man died.

I seriously doubt that, if Dobson even read a single Discworld novel, some speck of Pratchett's wit and humor should have rubbed off onto him. At least we would have seen a ship of badass, elderly pirates or some badass stone-old voodoo priestesses.
