You know, when I first heard about Chris, I was always curious as to what a manchild who wasn't mentally stunted in some way would act. Would they handle their childish obsessions a bit too much but still be able to function in society? Would they be overly nerdy? Would they alienate people by being attention whores?

After learning about and reading of Dobson, I have finally seen my question answered. ... Can I please go back to Chris now?

"Tough girls" have been a staple of popular culture for several decades. There have been enough gun-toting, high-kicking, men-slaughtering badass females in movies, vidya and TV shows to build an army out of them. Nookie Bear, Sarkeesian, Wu etc. griping that women are only "sexy decoration" in media completely ignores the reality of popular entertainment. And keep in mind that there are not only fictional female fighters but also female scientists, spies, starship commanders etc. in media. Sorry if wrong thread -- but I think I have figured out why Brianna Wu thinks Revolution 60 is a "feminist game": Simply because there are some women in it who use guns and fight male baddies. The fact that this is a long-running staple of entertainment is completely ignored by all SJWs.

Holy shit, he really did that? Did Dobson ever get it into his dense fucking skull that people actually died? He could have just talked about the movie without bringing any of this shit up. But no, he has to bring in his shitty strawman and fucking whine about how the murders of innocent people inconvenienced him. I can't fucking stand how smug Dobson draws himself, it's unbelievable. Personal suggestion: If Dobson ever shows up at a real convention, find out where he is and hand out copies of said comic with pictures of the Aurora Shooting victims to visitors. Let them see who Dobson is. I always wanted to see a lynchmob formed at a convention

In Dobbers Tweetfeed, I saw people bitch and moan about sci-fi not being very PROGRESSIVE. Basically, it was tweets whining about a lack of non-gender-binary races, a lack of black (or female) protagonists in sci-fi and the likes.

All I can say to that? Fuck these people. They might wanna pick up a decent sci-fi book or movie and see how wrong they are. For fuck's sake, the old Battlestar Galactica had black pilots and commanders in it.
Also, who really profits from a story where some alien race has the genders "Zorblax", "Zumzot" and "Zirblzus"?
