So, this bugged me about the other con pages and I forgot to mention it, but why in the fuck is he carrying a backpack around? I've only been to small cons before, I'll admit, but I don't recall anyone bloody hauling a backpack around.

That and the shirt makes me think that he's trying to pass his fursona off as an impressionable youth, which is HILARIOUS given how the bear looks like he's goddamn 30.

Dobson sees his fursona as a relatable, well meaning, and sympathetic. However, many see him as a whiny, inconsiderate, insensitive asshole. That is a good question, the people I see with backpacks are cosplayers who are Finn, Fiona, and others. Back on topic, given how thin skinned Dobson is, it is pretty hilarious.

For larger cons, a backpack can carry purchases, water, and other essentials like snacks or medicines. This goes double if it's a long trip to and from the con site, if long lines are expected, or if the climate can get extreme (Comiket in the summer is hell if you're not prepared). Really, though, a messenger bag is better because you can access it while wearing it.
