Andrew Dobson a professional artist who allegedly has a job and a Patreon is shitting himself over bad weather and brown outs wrecking his shit.
I'm a disabled
recipient who just likes to fuck around with art for fun.I've got backup systems, spare parts and cables as well as two spare monitors in my closet. My software and data is on backup hard drives which are backed up once again on optical media.
If something bad happened, Dobson's fucked. I'd be back up and running within two days if I was being lazy.

Shouldn't these goals be on a scale of how much more time you can dedicate to your art thanks to patreon?
Like $100 one 4 panel SYAC a month, $500 +2 pages of Lesbian Kick, $1000 a page of Lesbian kick a week
not just "Here's some crappy puns and a SYAC strip every so often… all other rewards are minecraft servers, raffles and new websites"
Seriously these are the dumbest reward tiers since the CWC Kickstarter Lego Store. It's like he's trying his hardest to set it up in a way that means he is only expected to make about 1 thing a month none of this actually serves his fans
He's on a mac he has no excuse, it's literally you plug a drive in then press ok and it'll backup whenever a file changes.
If he doesn't have a backup drive maybe that should be a fucking patreon goal then not a minecraft server.
