Since we're on the topic of Danny and Spot, let's go back to this image:
It doesn't really anger me, mostly just causes confusion and leaves a lot of questions. When were Danny and Spot ever established to be tough badasses? Why would Dobson choose his ersatz Garfield and John to convey his "lol anime is stoopid" message? Why is Danny mashing his forearm into Naruto's face? Why does Danny have bows on his shoes?
Yeah, Dob. Your OCs are so tough, fighting characters that people actually like.

Yeah, he gave it up when the whole stigma became what he thought would have been a PR nightmare for him. But again, being Andrew Dobson is enough bad PR. Didn't stop him from drawing it recently in that "CARTOONS ARE BETTER THAN UNCOMFY ADULT THINGS" rant.

as someone who knows the show and the fandom, let me laugh at that statement. No, I think the main reason for him to like her is because she is "moe" in the eyes of bronies like him. She is shy (well duh), soft spoken, none agressive, loves cute animals has certain social anxieties... she is like what Dobson wants to see himself as: an introvert with the heart in the right place and kind to every- sorry, can't complete that sentence without laughing internally. Bottom line is, she comes of as the least "none agressive" of the show and that makes her Dobbear's perfect waifu.
But the more I remember of the show, the more I realize, it gave us years ago a perfect scene to edit in a way to include Dobbear.
