It's a temptation a lot of artists fall into. You want validation for your ideas so you bring them up to people. Sometimes it's helpful if you need to hammer something out, but you'll find it's a lot quicker to get validation for the idea of something than the finished product, because the finished product actually has to be - ya know, finished. There's also the fear that your idea might be better than the finished product.

This is why I wonder if Dobson will ever really reboot Alex ze Pirate. He's talked about it a lot, but so far the only concept art he's shown is a piece of a map that's apparently like 1/18 finished and brought the old site back online. I think he's pulling our legs for attention.

Please bear in mind, that she means the short film that runs before "Inside Out". It is a little, simple story about a volcano that wishes for someone to love and gets this wish granted. And that is all there is to it, it is a little, heartwarming tale that is - I dare to say - timeless and can be understood by anyone. Even by aliens.

And here we have someone screaming "These five minutes of a simple love story are too heteronormative for me!". I conclude that this person has no joy in her life.

I was wondering who the audience for this comic was. Now I think it's tumblr.

It's for Dobson himself. He wants to be ogled and humiliated by the wiminz but in the end it ends up in borderline rape sexy time where he is used and abused.

Have to thank everyone for these edits and drawings. Some are just brilliant and even the mediocre ones are funnier than anything Dobby has ever done. He could really learn something here.
