Oh yeah, back before he completely stopped giving a shit and still maybe quarter assed his stuff, he used to have a fairly decent fanbase, courtesy of his somehow getting on the frontpage on DA a few times and the fact he used to do things like backdrops and shade. It was mostly children, but a few manchildren watched him too. Then his acting like a smug asshole and sobbing into tubs of butter wore too thin, compounded by the fact he slowly put less and less effort and updated his comic less and less often. The main nail in this coffin was him moving to hipster welfare when his own fanbase said they couldn't give him money, because they were kids mostly. That and ignoring his DA basically ruined anything he had.
Not joking when I can state to you guys that consistency as a content provider can give you a decently larger audience than you would've had otherwise; because it makes people go "oh, it's shit, but it comes out every so-and-so period. Dobbo couldn't even manage to keep up a weekly or monthly schedule, and that popped his dream of even remotely being an artist like a needle does to his ideal girl. Well that and his effort and skill dropping below most of our own drawfags here.
