That would be a decent explanation...but this is Dobson we're talking about, he was just being a lazy, inconsistent dipshit
 
If you wanted to twist the joke around to a "my mom's dead!" comeback it would be a decent twist. But that was certainly not Dobson's intention. He can't even draw the correct number of fingers on his characters let alone come up with consistent backstory.

Dobson is publicly sperging about the prospect of lesbians in a children's TV show. He's digging his own grave at this point.

This is the thing that pisses me off with Dobson.

People can nitpick his art and shit, but I'm sorry to say the autist knows how to draw in 2 dimensions.

No, the reason why he is an lolcow is that the guy doesn't know how to world build, create understandable plotlines/stories, or make characters that aren't as flat as the piece of paper they're drawn on! And he markets this childish bullshit constantly! His writing is like that to a 5th grader, and it triggers me to no end.

Also, the faggot constantly complains about cartoons like they're the most important piece of material that mankind has ever made!

In the end, his drawing might as well be as good as Chris-chan's, because his story building is about as good as that.

Dobson is not only bad at art and storytelling, Dobson also does what every cringeworthy SJW-fan does: They blow one, minor detail out of proportion and devaluate a story because of that. Suddenly the entire series seems to be about these last ten seconds and nothing else, as if that had always been the core of the entire thing.

The entire relationship between Korra and Asami was such a side note, so barely hinted at, that most people didn't even saw it coming. But if you encounter Legend of Korra related artwork on social media these days, the impression you get is that this entire show is about a lesbian Avatar, when in truth it dealt with terrorism, social-unrest, religious fanatics, PTSD, fascism and other political extremes... so tell me, which series would you like to see more, the one with the gay Avatar, or the one with all those interesting, challenging themes?

I know that most people on the Farms probably didn't obsessively follow a children's cartoon, but the thing about Korrasami was, prior to the season where it featured ended, Korrasami was a joke. Like, it was one of those "lulz" pairings that, outside of a very rabid, fringe part of the fanbase, most people were kinda putting up to be funny.

And now it's this whole big deal now because it's been hijacked by the SJW moral crusaders instead of, you know... "Oh and that happened toward the end that was cool."

(I do love how the Korrasami thing caused people to gloss over Asami reconciling with her father, which imo was a far more poignant and impactful side story than "oh there are lesbians")
 
He made a patreon for the Korrasami animation. I can imagine how this one will work out.

Now that I think about it, Dobson hasn't drawn any fanart of Legend of Korra beyond shipping the characters and having his self-insert cosplay as Korra. There are probably a lot of great moments in the show worthy of fanart, and he basically just made fanart for the last episode.

Doing my best to avoid sperging here, but the gender of Stevonnie(the name of the two characters fused) is left very ambiguous. It's never outright stated or hinted at one way or the other.

I'm sure Dobbles thinks everyone's a lesbian on there though, since it's the popular tumblr-SJW mindset.
