"Masahiro Sakurai recently unveiled Samus’s new design for Super Smash Bros 4 and it’s pretty disappointing in my opinion.
In a game all about fan-service I can sadly understand going with the Zero Suit costume (objectifying to the character though it may be). But those god awful reject inspired Reebok high heeled “jet” boots?
Good grief just... no. NO! BAD Sakurai! Bad!
Side Note: Do not even try to compare these abominations to Portal Chel's special "fall" boots. Those are actually based on science ozziescribbler.tumblr.com/post… whereas these high heel jet boots are designed to make her look "sexy."

Thanks for the image, I've been searching for that one for some time now, especially with the comment from his ex gf.

...Samus' boots don't look that different to me from Chell's, but okay.
In Portal 2, they updated Chell's model and made her look younger/added makeup. I'm surprised Dobson didn't complain about that.

I mean, Dobson made fun of the character heels when he clearly can't even make a decent representation (or tracing at this point) of Samus, and the image I linked was a comission, so there's no excuse to have bad quality or be lazy on the design, no excuse.

They most of all can't claim "Muh soggy knees" when Other M turned Samus into a whimpering girl who needs a man to tell her what to do and shit like that. Before then she was basically Ellen Ripley mixed in with an Amazon.

While Dobby likes to play the SJW card, he doesn't play it well. Besides being a straight white male, he has made and continues to make "problematic" art. It's really kind of funny. He desperately tries to get in with that crowd as a hugbox, but even tumblr makes fun of him.

I think they label him as an anti-sj because it doesn't seem he really beleives what he preaches and he only preaches for sweet, sweet asspats.
