There's another contradiction in his Patreon:

But this is not true! There's only one pledge category that basically gives access to everything in the Patreon site! It doesn't matter if you donate one dollar or one hundred, everyone gets the exact same shit!
Dobs is a communist. Actually, that explains a lot. Even down to his attempt of altering history by revisionism.

I think he forgot about the crying lady of liberty.
Yeah, how dare Hollywood making a movie for the current focus group of audiences! They should exclusively pander to people who are mentally stuck inthe 90s.
/sarcasm

I'm not a big buff of super hero comics, but I'll assume with all the covers showing golden-age Superman what-if stories where he becomes the pope or the leader of the world, I'll assume Superman and Batman had some comics where they fight even 60+ years ago. But hey, this is Dobson, and we can't have facts ruin his shitty argument that's based solely on his childish addiction to 90s pop culture.

Another smug, douchey piece of shit from Dobbo. Also, note the Frank Miller hate, and the fact that anyone old enough to remember the first Superman vs. Batman fight portrayed in a serious manner in The Dark Knight Returns, in 1986, probably now looks more like the dude in the middle than the douchey dudebro stereotype on the left.

In that case, he is a bad communist.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexey_Stakhanov

On 19 September, Stakhanov was reported to have set a new record by mining 227 tonnes of coal in a single shift.

On 4 August, Dobson reported being unable to play Splatoon. The working class surely must be impressed by his dedication to working tirelessly, am I right?

Any more lines on those faces and we'd have something akin to a Kricfalusian grotesque.

In the past, I understood at least the points Dobson was trying to make, but this time I don't even know what he wants to tell us here. Is there actually a single older DC fan, that will go apeshit about the fact that Batman and Superman might fight in a movie, that shows us how they meet for the first time? Is he really complaining about the fact, that they don't tell the precise Superman and Batman story he grew up with?

Oh boy i cant wait to see the sweaty Dobson edits everyone's gonna make!

You don't have to wait!

Where the hell is the light source in that picture? The shading is damn near random, as if each character were in their own picture, and the work on the bricks is lazy beyond belief. Okay for a self-trained cartoonist, but pretty poor for someone who actually went to art school. In terms of drawing characters, he's not bad. He's just dialling it in when it comes to detail.

You know, normally I'd let something like this slide, but since this is behind a paywall, or at least Dobbo wishes it was, I'm going to point soemthing out.

Not only are the marquee lights clearly just copy pasted, he appears to have made little to no effort to evenly space them, or reduce them in size, and also quite obviously drew it on a flat panel then just abused the perspective tools in photoshop (Forgive me for not knowing the exact tool name, I use Gimp), which makes the spacing issues even more egregiousness. Now if it was manually drawn I'd be willing to excuse these things. It's a short one panel comic, and dealing with identical items in perspective is, I assume at least, a tad bit tricky. But when you are CTRL-X -> CTRL-V spamming on a simple rectangle, there is no excuse for spacing issues. You just go "CTRL-V" "Right 1,2,3,4" "CTRL- V" "Right 1,2,3,4" etc etc until you are done.

The guy that's excited about the movie(the one that's suppose to be the "evil dudebro" given how he's draw) has the same head shape as that pink haired Mohawk girl from his comic
Also he has a big pointy nose, not that that infers anything..

The impact font "Coming soon" looks a bit squint too.

Isn't the series called So You're a Cartoonist? Then why is it about Batman and generation gaps?

I guess changing it to So You're a Sperg Who Obsessively Hates Batman and Especially Frank Miller's Version Goddamn You Frank Miller Goddamn You would take up too much space.
