Isn't that quite the achievement. "He"* made it on a poster to highlight who's an ally/opponent to Gamergate.
_______________________________________________________________________________________
*and by 'he' I mean some lousy self-portrait that's as close to the real deal as North Koreas self-presentation in their media.
If I were watching that video and suddenly see the kind of persons I'm being teamed up with (SJWs, feminazis, etc), I wouldn't be saying "hello, it's me!", I would seriously think what the fuck is wrong with me and wake up after the bitch slap I just received.
But since it's Dobson, you know one of his motto: "Any publicity is good Patreon bucks".
"Simple cartoons will always be more popular than highly detailed painting", let me translate that for you so we can understand what Dobs was actually trying to say: "I can't do details and I'm too lazy to put actual effort into anything anymore, so instead of trying harder and get over it, I'll stick with what little I have and say it's better this way."
So you heard him folks, Legend of Korra < Sponge Bob.
There's nothing to be proud on being putted in the same side with alot of sperglord, crybabies and con artist,Dobbo
Also,How dull can be someone Existence if He found worthy of notice a thing like that?

Hes as much on their side as the waterboy is to the football team....or CWC was to the basketball team.
Basically hes there for the numbers game, he serves no purpose other than mindlessly argeeing with his SJW idols whilst being totally ignored by them
If gamer gate were a war Dobson would be in the first wave tasked with clearing a minefield, hes less than cannon fodder whilst being an actual liability to what little credibility his side have.
Honestly most of the SJW cows involved in gamergate have managed to make some cash on it and have other dumb shit going on. All Dobson is getting is depressed, less popular (if thats possible) and forever alone.
I'd like to think that every time Dobson posts a tweet a little girl drops her ice cream cone. His mere existence makes the world a little darker every day.
Remember ladies Dobson is a gentleman and respects you.
Obviously not in the workplace where he flipped of his female boss for telling him to do his damm job.
And not your religious views because he cant let your faith ruin his christmas.
Or if your from Japan were everyone without exception was recently classed as ignorant and cultural insensitive.
Or if you disagree with Dobson, support gamergame and dont feel oppressed and in need of saving by the fedobear.
And if youve ever viewed his art without paying, if you take offense at his inflation porn, if you dont kiss his ass and tell him how awesome his art is.
If you use these forums.
Infact the one woman Dobson has shown genuine respect for happens to be a guy....Hi Brianna

To Dobson, it's a badge of honor... for him, it's the only way to feel equal to all the senpais that never noticed him. "See, I'm part of your group? See? The trolls hate me just as much as they hate you! That means you finally took notice of my existence, right?"
So, I've been wondering why, exactly, Dobson bugs me so much. I've had, like, two posts deleted in the time I've been on the Farms, and both of them were from this thread because I went a bit too far and went into A-Logging and Powerleveling (sorry 'bout that btw). He's not a cow like Len that doxxes people left and right and is a nuisance to everyone he sees or a horrorfuck like mrz that confesses to wanting to fuck kids and trying to justify it all the time. He's a shitty artist with an entitlement complex desperate for attention. So... why does he get to me so much?
So, I've been out in Europe for the past few days, just relaxing and looking at a couple of awesome cities, and I've been filling the hotel offnights with Fate/Stay Night and catching up with or watching some old YouTube videos. I guess it was partially because of the latter that I kinda had my little bit of enlightenment, my moment where I realized why Dobson is, imo, just such a terrible person for who he is.
For the record, this'll be a lengthy rant that might devolve into powerleveling, so it's been spoilered and spoilered within the spoilers. I'll put a tl;dr in the end for people who would rather see Dobson's spergy tweets than someone sperg about Dobson.
OK, so I'm imagining that most people here that have been exposed to YouTube, any online community, or the Internet in general will recognize the name "Monty Oum." If you don't recognize that name, perhaps you'll recognize some of the projects he was on, such as Haloid, Dead Fantasy, Red vs. Blue, and RWBY. Basically, he was "that one guy that made a bunch of insane animations of video game characters beating the shit out of other video game characters."
Dobson, as we know, finished his formal art education with his degree. Oum, by contrast, dropped out of high school. His entire craft is self-taught. Oum was 33 before he tragically died, and unless I'm wrong, Dobson should be in his mid-thirties by now, meaning that Oum has lived and died in the entire time Dobson was faffing about.
Personally, I adore Oum. He is one of my idols and one of my inspirations because of the passion he had for his craft and just for... well... being him. When he was brought into Rooster Teeth to do Red vs. Blue, the entire studio was basically enamored by him. There were a lot of fun stories involving him, including this one:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=id=4QQmXoR5t9I;t=41
But the one thing that was noticeable about him is about how seriously he took his work and how passionately he took it, to the point where he actually got mad at upgrades to programs that he used if said programs changed the shortcuts he was accustomed to using because it made things slightly longer for him to do. There was actually a story floating around about how he got a new keyboard and Oum actually started tearing keys out of it because "he kept hitting the wrong ones in his work."
And what just kills me is how early he died and from how rudimentary it was. In case you didn't know, Oum tragically died from post-surgery complications. Basically, he went in for a surgery, but had an allergic reaction to something during the operation or after the operation and went comatose. He died a few days later. The Rooster Teeth community went completely apeshit when the news hit, not to mention the communities that just loved his work as a whole and myself. The guy was loved for his prowess and his quirkiness and he just... suddenly died in the middle of the dream series he got greenlit by Rooster Teeth, RWBY.
But if there was anything that defined Oum beyond anything else, it was that he was always striving to improve his craft and expand on it. From Haloid all the way to RWBY, the man always wanted to make sleeker and more stylish animations. He loved his craft and he put so much thought and effort into the basis of how and why things would act the way they did, to the point where he explained the functionality of Ruby's sniper-scythe and how the recoil from the sniper would allow a 15-year-old girl to swing around a scythe that was twice the size of her. He was the type of person that would look at a project and would focus on how to improve it, even after the final product was released on the Internet to accolades.
Quoting the official statement from Rooster Teeth regarding his death:
"As for honoring Monty, we will do that in our own way. In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that you simply do something creative. Use your imagination to make the world a better place in any way that you can. If you know Monty like we do, then you know he would certainly be doing that if he were able to."
This is why I take pride in and love my writing, even if a lot of it is a bunch of embarrassing Touhou and Halo fics. This is why I want to desperately improve, and why I want to make things sharper, more concise, and just simply produce a whole lot more quality pieces. I want to love this craft, and so many of the Kiwis here as well as some friends at my university make me want to take up my hand at drawing as well because of how, well... just how fun it looks, how much fun they have doing it and improving on the faults that they had. I love making content, and I love making that content better.
And this is my problem with Dobson. His arrogance and conceit even as he admits, unabashedly, that he is perfectly fine with mediocrity. His self-entitlement for half-assed writing, for piss-poor style, for mistakes that would cause any artist that respected his work to scrap the entire disaster and start again from scratch. Time and time again he makes the same mistakes and brushes them off as "his style," and yet bashes others for artwork, for etiquette, for mannerisms, for their very beliefs, as though he was not only a great artist or not only a great person, but this ideologue that we should aspire to become. He doesn't try at all, and yet expects to be praised and lauded as the second coming.
He can shit all of his pathetic artwork out on the Internet and beg for Patreon donations until he is a forgotten waste of 140 characters on Twitter, but whenever he says he's an "artist," whenever he says that he's simply trying to belong and do content and then turns around and becomes a conceited ass... this is when I stop mocking him and start getting mad at him.
Because he's not an artist.
He's a hack.
He's a disgrace.
He's a pathetic, worthless fuck.
If Oum is the type of passion I want to embrace and share with others, then Dobson is the tepid, vapid, stale mediocrity that I want to stamp into the dirt until it's nothing but a faint imprint on my heel that I can wash off.
tl;dr If Dobson continues to call himself an artist while saying that he's content with brewing in mediocrity and criticizing others while putting him and his SJWs as examples of how the world should work, then I hope his Patreon runs dry and the only people that ever knew he existed are the people that laugh and mock him. People like us.
He doesn't deserve to wallow in complete obscurity. He deserves to know that he's only known for how much of an abysmal failure he is.

Monty Oum is also a big influence to me. I don't draw or write stories to impress a group of whack jobs on the webs, I do those things because it's my passion (which I am turning into a career). That said, Dobson will remain a miserable sad sack, because he refuses to improve his craft and is an ass to people. There are many people at steps 20 to whatever, whereas Dobson is stuck at step 2.

This is basically his excuse for being a shitty artist. What he doesn't get is the popular, simple art usually has something going for it. Randall Munro does more with fucking stick figures than anything Dobson has ever done. Good children's cartoons can be simple as hell with models that are repeated over and over, but maybe they radiate cuteness and make people go awww. Peanuts, one of the most successful comic strips of all time, for good reason, stuck with simple models that mostly stayed the same after the first couple years. But they had charming personalities and could express a multitude of emotions in a few simple lines.
Dobson's art also expresses personality. Dobson's personality. The problem is he's a complete fucking douchebag, so the only emotions his fursona and other characters express is peevishness, smugness, a sort of constipated anger at the world, modified a bit by utter chickenshittery, and frustrated ego. Nothing else. He throws in all kinds of extraneous lines in his faces that actually just make his characters look like even bigger douchebags, or like old, angry people, or sometimes even just like they have a scrotum on their forehead.
Dobson seems to wonder why he isn't popular when he does the simple cartoonish things he thinks are popular, but he totally misses that those simple things that are popular have something he will never have: charm. His fursona is a dick and whenever he draws other franchises' stuff, it's not just off model but he turns the characters into dicks that radiate unlikeability.
He'll never even understand that he does this, because he's that much of an autistic asshole.
So, I think this cartoon was uploaded to DA in 2013, and it was pretty much about how other artists "supposedly" tear down beginner artists or some shit like that.
Never change, Dobson, never change.
Honestly, this is just my experience, but I've found that a lot of established artists are generally willing to help newcomers. Most published comic artists I've had the opportunity to talk to have been extremely nice, approachable, and ready to give out some form of advice. Of course, if you approach them willing to accept any constructive critique and not throw around a massive ego that helps too.

I think this describes Dobsons mindset perfectly: The way to success is blocked by haters and trolls, who try to shoo him away from his goal and the only thing he has to do is just to ignore and walk past them.
What he does not realize is, that he isn't walking into the right direction (or at all). And every person who gives him a bit of advice is just another troll, that tries to keep him away from his goal - and not someone who wants to show him a better path.
