Also, I'm a little late to the patreon stuff, but here's what I was gonna say anyway: Dobs is confusing "mature" with "deeply emotional". Mature movies means that they have sex, violence or drugs, which are considered "mature subjects" because you have to be an adult to really understand those touchy subjects. So yeah, labeling something as mature is just about certain aspects of the movie or serie and it has NOTHING to do with how deep or emotional (that causes any kind of strong emotion) the thing itself is.
Hence, making his examples of "mature cartoons" totally invalid since his point is way off.

1. If the rumors about Metal Gear Solid's "Quiet" are true, I think we need to (as a Nation) collectively take Dobson to sensitivity training.

3. I wish when some content comes from Dobson and is horribly offensive, we didn't just shrug our shoulders and say "that's just his culture."

4. If you're gonna export your media to the rest of the world, you have to understand your work will be criticized BY the rest of the world.

5. Dobson needs to engage with the rest of the world on equal footing. Ignorance about things involving other people is unacceptable.
