He's trying to get a patron banned for merely backing out as the site allows. Not even for the "theft"

Also extra note, it can still be art theft if you don't make money off it. The finer points of what count are a little dubious but generally it's "reposting someone else's art without credit" or "reposting and claiming as one's own" but that's the thing, we never try to erase the "artist" behind these... things. So it's not art theft.

Well, I hate to be the partypooper here, but...

Assume someone smears his diarrhea onto a piece of canvas, puts it into a room and charges people for looking at it. Although the art is literal shit, coping it and handing those copies to others it is still an 'unauthorized reproduction'. It is however (in my country for instance) not a problem to keep a copy for yourself (usually) and show it to friends, it only becomes an offense when you create more copies for others. But on the internet and especially regarding digital images, you can hardly share something without technically coping it.

So yes, although it isn't 'stealing', it is something different.

HOWEVER:
If Dobbers opinion about himself wasn't inflated to comedic levels (heh...!), he would realize that he should relish any kind of exposure. As many other people he does not understand, that 'unauthorized copies' do not equal 'lost revenue'. Just because you got something for free on the internet, does not mean that you would have bought it otherwise. If anything he should be glad for any 'leak', because his patrons don't give him money for his art, they give him money for making more of it. (Which is kind of sad, if you think about it.)

So, instead of doing the smart thing, like slapping a Patreon-logo and his URL to the botton of every Pateron-only image, so he can attract more patrons with every 'leak', he whines and tries to dox the evil 'leakers'.

Smart move, Dobbers! Show your fans that you'll go ballistic, if they share one of your pictures with others, that will surely push your Pateron money into the five digit range.
