If I recall, his beef isn't just with shonen.
In his anime beatdown picture he adds in Sailor Moon and freaking Doraemon of all things. So I think he just dislikes popular anime in general, the little hipster.

It's pretty funny because Doraemon is the sort of non-violent, good morals kid's show that I'd imagine him being all over.

I remember that picture. It cemented my beef with Dobson. I may not be into anime as much as I used to, but that was a low blow. He wonders why he is a constant target.

PS: Those anime characters would have pasted Dobson's generic characters in a nanosecond.

Yep. It was all over that obsession he has with the Legend of Korra because the lesbians thing. It was awkward and cringe as fuck.

Also semper fi for digging that up; the Dobbo thread is kind of like a big swamp of assrage and sadness due to how hard and often he sobs and sputters and that would've made finding it a bit of a pain.

Much like his overreaction to Harry Potter spoilers, to the point he physically assaulted someone with a chair (I wonder if that person has PTSD?), he reacts to minor slights disproportionately. Did he seriously spell Khajiit as Kajite?
The character creation menu has the name of the race listed right there. I understand it can be a little difficult to remember the correct spelling, but Kajite isn't even sounding it out correctly. That'd sound like Kag-eye-t.

I'd give him points if he spelled it Kajeet, and if he were 5 years old.

I think he's upset because he likes cats and they're making references to killing cats? I dunno, as a cat-lover myself I find those comments make killing the bandits more personally gratifying.
He's whined in the past about media that depicts the death of an animal, so that's what I'm going to place my bet on.

You know Dobson- there is a monstrous cat overpopulation which leads to many perfectly good animals to be put to sleep. There are cats abused by their owners. There's Zippocat, crush films, and Lord knows how many other pieces of internet media that are like that. There are cats who are used for "training purposes" by people who participate in dog-fighting. Hell, there are even certain movies (The Angel's Melancholia- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1420558/reviews, possibly Milo & Otis- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventures_of_Milo_and_Otis) that contain very real and very literal cruelty to cats.
But no! Only fictional kitties matter because Dobson's feels.

It's pretty much like how he always complains about the treatment of fictional women when in certain parts of the world women are sentenced to death for having the gall to want an education.
