He'd first have to know what that movie is.

But that's a good question. On the one hand, it was a bomb for Disney, not really enjoyed in its time. On the other hand, it does have a cult following from what I recall. I'd guess it ultimately depends on which side he considers to be more the norm. If it's the idea it was bad, he'll say it's good. If it's the latter, he'll deem it shit. Because fuck actually forming opinions; if I say stuff like this on purpose I'll get attention without having to do anything resembling work in my craft.

When was the last time Dobson tweeted something to do with animated film anyway? For a guy who wanted to work at Disney he seems more interested in cartoons and video games than the high end of the animation industry.
 
All this talk about being "family friendly" from a bozo who doesn't have kids. Parents are the ones who should decide what is appropriate for their child, not Dobby. Different parents are okay with different levels of violence.

Not to mention other things they may take offense too. I'm sure there are some parents who did not appreciate Korra's ending because they didn't think homosexuality was appropriate subject matter. I grew up on horror shows/movies while parents protested the Goosebumps books back in '97. There's fucking books out there about the relationship between Harry Potter and Satanism.

So excuse me while I scoff at what you think is appropriate for children Dobson. It's the parent's job to decide what their kid is exposed to, not some failed artist's.
 
I did a little searching about Minecraft and apparently back in 2012/2013 he did a few lets play videos and also a podcast with Humon and some other guy:

It's kind of sad when you think about it since Dobby doesn't seem to have talked to these people in years yet still thinks making a Minecraft server and Podcast will work out.
 
The video that Pickel posted is the first time that I heard Dobson's voice.

Funny enough, I think Dobson has a voice that lends itself well to Let's Plays. Sounds a lot like KurtJMac, imo, and he really seemed to be having fun playing Minecraft while demonstrating some level of competency. Other people who I've seen play sound really tense and very into the competition bit but he sounds natural. Seems like he missed his calling and just chooses now to whine and cry on twitter because senpai Wu does.

I love how Dobson talks about how he doesn't like doing the tedious jobs of animation, like designing or rigging the figures and all that shit, like it's beneath him.

If he actually got hired by Disney he would be fired in an instant for requesting work that was more of "his standard."
 
I should probably keep my clam shut since I don't really like Let's Plays in general, but I feel like Dobby doing one might be a particularly bad idea. A nice voice and enthusiasm are fine, but the whole Splatoon saga has shown us that his relationship with computer games is really dumb, so I can't imagine wanting to be further exposed to it.
 
I think he's obsessing over Batman because his parents being murdered in front of him gives him much more of a reason to have PTSD than Dobson's water squirter incident does, yet Batman, y'know, doesn't spend his days acting like a complete tit.

Basically, he's jealous of Batman.

As people have already said it, he sounds surprisingly normal in the Minecraft vid. Usually, when I read his tweats or his fursona's dialogue, the voice I hear in my head is... How should I describe it?

Remember that old Hanna-Barbera cartoon, The Perils of Penelope Pitstop? There was this gang in it called the Ant Hill Mob (thankew teh internetz!), which had a member called Softey (again, thx netz!), who was this massive crybaby. I think his voice fits the blueball bear quite well. With a hint of Droopey and the Sonichu from Sonichu Animated, of course.
