There are no doubt people out there that get a kick out of just imposing their will, beliefs, handicaps and needs onto people. Every time I read about people doing this or see it on the news I just think...that must be really fun in a sick sick way.

If he did fire Dobson, it would make me wonder why he didn't hire another artist to share his terrible jokes. Eh, I would take the words of EDF with a grain of salt but it does create a lot of possibilities. If I remember the event right, their contract had expired and Brentalfloss decided not to renew it.

Maybe he shouldn't post Patreon exclusive art. I noticed he mentioned some behind-the-scenes stuff, so one thing he could do is post videos of him drawing but keep his artwork visible for all (I'm assuming it would be more difficult to mirror the video than to "steal" his comics). Also...

Book discounts? Is Dobson still selling books of his artwork? Oh... oh god, that's horrible. Someone somewhere had to assemble these books. Someone had to do quality control on each individual copy, stack them into a box and carry them to a truck, and for what? Unfunny, outdated pop-culture puns? What kind of sick, pathetic bastard pays for physical copies of Dobson's work? I wouldn't even use one of his comics for kindling. Firewood might be more expensive but at least I'd have my pride.
Anyway, he clearly needs to rethink his business plan.

I looked at his Patreon Page, & one of the pledge milestones was a Skyrim children's rhyme book.
Why? Skyrim is not marketed to children. Would the book be for older geeks to enjoy or something?
