Well, since we're back to the usual routine of Dobson being a lazy, egocentric artist...

Patreon wallpaper when?
 
Really with the amount of time spent whinging on twitter, you'd think he'd do a fortnightly or even weekly wallpaper if he just did his supposed job instead.

I mean, actually being meaningfully productive might bring in more than $1... and that $1 could be another troll inspired by the suicide-baiting given how pissed off people are getting over it.

At this point I feel he'll threaten suicide any time he doesn't want to work on the art he promised his patrons. The amount of undeserved asspatting he got astounds me. His serious patrons will feel so sorry for him, they won't have the heart to pull their funds. SJW types don't learn that if someone repeatedly threatens to off themselves, chances are they're too cowardly to actually do it, and they're just seeking to gain something from it.

I wonder if Dobbers made the threat to try and get more suckers-- I mean, patrons.
 
I'm relatively new to the world of lolcows, but now that I've found it, I think it's become an addiction. A bad trainwreck of an addiction. Been lurking for a few weeks now, and I finally caught up with this thread. After all I've read on this guy...

Dobson is a huge piece of shit.

Graduated from an Art school, dreaming to become a Disney moviemaker, but dropped so low he can barely afford 100 dollars/month with his 'art'. Ironically enough, the "useless" degree he got helped a former college mate actually make it into the prestigious animation studio. He NEEDS financial incentives to draw, constantly complains that he lacks the drive to do it, he has no motivation to better himself, condemning every critic as a hateful troll, and openly admits he does not trust his fans. So why is he insisting on it? Change your goddamn career.

Guy is a hugeass bratty manchild. He offended his girlfriend's religion when all she was trying to do was have him around her family for the holidays so he wouldn't be alone. A twenty-something years-old bitches about not having Christmas decorations and presents to open or feeling the anticipation of freaking Santa Claus actually coming down his chimney. I hope he realizes he's always been in the naughty list due to excessive bullshit he pulls off.

Spergs about the most trivial of subjects, is a SJW-wannabe of the stupidest degree and will not ever get sympathy or acknowledgement from the people he so desperately tries to attract. Is self-diagnosed with PTSD of all illnesses, being the type of person who labels any irrational discomfort as a serious trigger. Now, he suicide-baits to gather more asspats, mocking people who have suffered from actually going through with attempting suicide.

Godammit, I hate this guy so much. First, I saw him as a lolcow. Then, the possible-autism and his outrageous reactions to the smallest of things (flinging a chair at someone spoiling Harry Potter and getting fired from his job) nearly made me think of him as a sadcow. I mean, no human being is THAT scandalous without having some sort of mental problem, right? But now, the fake suicide and the response he's getting from his idiotic fans just elevated him to the status of hatecow, if that's even a thing.

This guy has a loyal following and people devoted to giving him useful (regardless of the tone used; seriously, grow a spine, some people are harsh critics) criticism, and, yet, he's more than fine where he stagnated at. His complacency is offensive because he's just too lazy to try and get out of his misery.

Fuck you, Dobson. Fuck you with all my hateboner's power.
 
Dobson should stay off the internet permanently after this little stunt.
If he thought people were at their worst before his suicide baiting, then he's gonna have a big surprise when he comes back.
 
I've given Dobs more empathy than most, I've talked to him directly about his behavior and how it effects others. I've honestly felt some empathy for the guy as many artists who are into cartooning draw fucked up fetish shit, you see it in the industry more than most will readily admit. I was understanding of his crit issues, criticism can be hard, but his reactions have been immature.

I'm pretty much done at this point, Dobs could be in animation, he could be bettering himself as a person and artist, but he sits there for years spinning his wheels over perceived slights and reaction to his own immature choices.

This is just the last straw really, he's done everything to be a sycophantic nice guy in a sad plea for positive attention aside from suicide baiting until now, and while pathetic it was generally not manipulative in the same way.

Yep, Dobs has lost the last person on this forum who thought that maybe one day he'd redeem himself and be a goddamn adult.

However, suicide baiting is really shitty behaviour and I certainly hope Dobs is not going to live this one down so easily.

Either way, let's hope he actually uses his time offline to do something about his shitty life, but 10 internet bucks say he's going to play splatoon while gorging himself on icecream and chicken nuggets.

No, yeah, threatening suicide to garner sympathy and attention has to be the easiest and quickest way for me to give you a "shitty person" rating and stop giving a single shit about you. Like, there's a huge difference between saying something like "I really don't feel well" and making it sound like you're about to throw yourself off a bridge.

Also, it cracks me up that for all his efforts, he only got a handful of people who took the bait. His fanbase really has stopped giving a shit about him. Just look at this poll:
