I think a lot of people like him mistake their personal preferences for ethics, you see a lot of that running through most social/political agitators. Whatever they like is harmless, whatever their opponents like is TEH DEBIL! (tm) because they're either very insecure, very ignorant or just really really rock-chewing stupid.

We are talking about the same guy who shames others for drawing sexy renditions of female characters as being objectification and yet his sexy renderings of female characters is somehow commendable and should not be motive for shaming. .... The hatability of that fucking bear continues to fascinate me. I think it's a combination of visual cues that just make you hate the fuck before you even see the stupid things Dobson says through him. Like the fact that he's supposed to be this cutesy bear, but Dobby drew him with a jaw and large Leno chin. Coupled with the smaller eyes I mentioned before, and Dobson's avatar comes off like an adult midget rather than a small, cutesy, cartoony character. So combine that with Dobson's artistic cues I brought up earlier in the thread, along with his attempts to be expressive, exaggerated, and cartoony with the character, and you get what looks like a little adult acting like a smug, spastic asshole rather than a smarmy-yet-innocent Disney-esque character.
I mean, how do you fail at cute?! Cute's the easiest fucking thing in the world to do!
