Not to defend Dobson, but those are entirely consistent. If you hate killing animals, you should hate PETA, too. PETA kills animals. Their "shelter" kills basically all the animals it gets, even if they're perfectly healthy and adoptable, just because they're evil. No, really.

When I first saw it I thought it was a guy in denial about being gay.
It's weird the way they treat minority groups, it's like they think they own them and should be their sole voice and treat any minority group that doesn't have the same political views as them as the equivalent of an uncle tom.
Dobby reminds me of the people that watch animal documentaries and get upset that in nature animals kill each other.

There's a real problem like the equality of same-sex partnerships and the moment there's progress, Dobson retweets his awful cartoon shipping art as if it meant something.
Why not celebrate the anniversary of the end of the second world war with a picture of Steven Universe standing atop the unconcious body of [insert villain name here]?
These moments must be pure bliss to folks like Dobson. When something like that happens, they can sit back and pat themselves on the back pretending their hashtag-spam had any kind of involvement. "Truly, my work here is done. For I have retweeted endless masses of 'progressive' tweets that finally bore fruit!".
It's a crucial part of the validation these people so desperately seek.
Yeah. Nah. Fuck off, Dobson. The real grown-ups got this shit down. They don't spend their time playing splatoon or wanking to cartoon lesbians, they use their time to collect money to support their cause, do petitions (you know, the ones that aren't online and thus actually mean something?) and actually go to court over unjust things.
If you reduced the number of these people to half as many as we got today, you'd see a drastic change for the worse as the progress these people support would take a lot longer to happen.
Meanwhile, when you took away ALL the people like Dobson with their hashtag activism, there would literally be no change to how fast progress happens. They have absolutely no impact on anything aside from creating drama online that doesn't influence the real world the slightest bit.

I believe Twitter has a mute functionality. I think there's a high chance Dobson muted Ass Manager after his first tweet a week or two ago. The purpose of him muting him instead of blocking would be that Ass Manager wouldn't know he was necessarily muted, whereas you can't reply at all if you're blocked. Since he doesn't know for sure he was muted, he hasn't tried making a new account to get around the effective block of the mute.
Here are a bunch of his tweets where he talks about muting people.
